This task of macro for the week is I think rather difficult! Is macro really a synonym for 'minimalism'? Do you think this is a macro shot? I used my macro lense and we are looking at a small part of a person.... minimalism is not me ....

MILW 261 is dressed up as DL&W 1661 as it arrives at the Binghamton, NY station with an excursion from Scranton on July 22, 1995. We had no idea that this was running and had gone down to shoot the morning Westbounds on Starrucca Viaduct. Couldn't figure out why so many fans were out around the tracks in Binghamton.

Die 261 049 zog am Mittwoch den 14.08.2019 eine Übergabe von Maschen nach Cuxhaven... auf der 110 Kilometer langen Reise geht es durch Niedersachsen, immer in der Nähe der Elbe... mittlerweile fahren die Übergaben tagsüber nur noch sehr selten und mit Loks der Baureihe 265. Kurz nach der Übergabe tauchte dann 231 012 auf...

On year ago, I started my 365, and today is the day I should have finished...obviously I'm not even very close but I wanted to say that I have nothing but awe and respect for those of you who finish your projects on time, especially those that require taking a picture every day. I honestly cannot imagine finding a way to do that.

P.S. i saw Les Miserables today and it was AMAZING! Go see it!
In der Lüneburger Heide findet man im Frühjahr leider nur selten Rapsfelder. Die sandigen Böden eignen sich besser für Kartoffeln oder Mais. Doch im Jahr 2025 stand ein Rapsfeld tatsächlich sogar mal fotogen an der SinON Strecke von Celle Nord nach Bergen. Am 26. April 2025 verkehrte dann im passenden Zeitfenster ein Militräzug nach Bergen Lagerbahnhof, welchen ich bei Wohlde, kurz vor Bergen, mit dem Rapsfeld zusammen ablichten konnte. Die Traktion übernahm dabei 261 075.
MILW 261 is almost done with it s ferry move across BNSF's Midway Sub and will arrive at Saint Paul Union Depot for a weekend of festivities. It's been two years since 261 last ran outside of the Twin Cities.
