... However, these are originals, with original bullets -- and all in a nice display case.

... So these are probably worth something! If Matthew keeps these another 40 years, who knows how much they'll be worth?

Just managed to grab this one before bed last night. Another test for the dinky little 130pds to see if it can handle a bunch of bright stars. Seems to have passed the test, not bad for something that cost me only just over a hundred quid.

If you dont like newtonian diffraction spikes, look away now! :)

In 2 months my partner and I will be out in San Francisco for the San Francisco Marathon and Half Marathon. Thankfully, we're only doing the first half. It runs from Market & Embaracadero, up the waterfront, across the Golden Gate Bridge, back and then into the Golden Gate Park. 13.1 miles of ..... bliss?

San Francisco is nearly as fun as WDW to me, that's the only encouragement I have for going out there for this run.

Pupajax, maybe we can meet up when we are out there. The race is July 25.

Ben puts his shoes and socks on in preparation for tree cleanup with Dad.

Update: I cut off all of the 3-inch or smaller branches by hand with a hacksaw, then trimmed the tiny leaf-holding limbs off of those branches, leaving us with a huge pile of small limbs, a stack of 20+ 3-inch thick branches, and one huge 100+ lb. limb.

We bundled the smallest limbs into 10 or so bundles which waste collection took away, then they came to the door and said if we paid them $10 they would take the rest (a scam) - we paid them and they took the branches but then said the large limb was too big. They claimed another truck would come and get it.

Almost a week later no other truck picked it up of course, so I somehow got it into the back of the truck, drove it down to the collection center without causing destruction to other motorists or getting pulled over by the police, and paid the minimum $6.25 to drag it myself into the hugest pile of yard waste I have ever seen.

Total cost: $16.25. Thanks, wind.
