A trip to Oxford yesterday (12/07/2025) to capture the visiting coaches and suss out whether or not to add it to my list of "places to visit to snap coaches within an hour of home".
Well, if it's a cloudless sky, then you've got challenges. Shadows from tall trees, the usual silent cyclists (and there are plenty of them), plus the north-south road layout mean you've got to work hard for your sunny shots.
Having said all that, the day did produce at least 100 coaches with many operators sending 2 or more vehicles including: Apple Travel (4), Catteralls, Chalkwell, D&P Coaches, Day Tours London, Eagle (3), Excelsior, Freedom, Grange Travel, Grayline, Hams, Henshaws, Highway, IGO Travel, Johnsons (4), Kelly's (4), NP Coaches (3), OMC, PPH, Pulham's (5), Richmonds (4), Ridleys, Skills (3), South Coast Travel (4), Sprinters, The Travellers Choice, Tiger European, and Weavaway (3).
Would I visit again? Probably.
