The weather went cold again, and have been super busy sorting and editing the 2000+ photos from the two trial weekends. Loving the photos I've gotten, can't wait to be done though!
Took this today during a break from editing. Kess is really loving the Jolly Ball now too. What I can't figure out- that's Pepper's butt in the background, not Kess'. Not sure where Kess' body fits in this photo... :-P
One of my favourite pieces I have done in a long time. Shot on 5x4 slide too, awsome! I originally shot this ages ago for a friend, using my 30D. Had been waiting to do it again for a while using a large format camera. My class mates and teacher thought the piece was very interesting and thoughtful. And my friend liked it.
This is on the sign for a McDonalds in Hong Kong, China.
A different way of saying "Open 24 Hours".
I wonder if this is the British way to say this or if it's "Chinglish". It certainly is not how they would say it in America!

Atelier ferrarese e orafo veneto, fine secolo XV-inizio secolo XVI
Lama d’acciaio incisa all’acquaforte e dorata a fuoco; elsa con tralci in filigrana e rosoni in smalto cloisonné; impugnatura d’argento niellato secolo XIX
Le due facce della lama della cinquedea, arma da parata, sono decorate da girali vegetali e guerrieri nudi, ai quali succedono, procedendo verso l’elsa, due figure femminili entro medaglioni sorretti da amorini, una delle quali compie un sacrificio, e quattro scene mitologiche. Su una faccia Ercole e Anteo e un liocorno circondato da giovani; sull’altra due scene di offerta con Marte e Plutone. La linea tormentata del disegno riconduce alla produzione pittorica ferrarese, influenzata dalla cultura mantegnesca, come nella cinquedea del museo Stibbert, realizzata da Ercole dei Fedeli, o a quella della collezione Wallace (Londra). Sull’impugnatura, a doppia piramide, sono rappresentate le Virtù cardinali; sul pomo, a ventaglio, S. Giorgio e il drago e la Conversione di Saulo. Tali parti non sono originali; furono probabilmente prodotte da falsari per conto dell’antiquario veneziano Antonio Sanquirico, fratello dello scenografo Alessandro, dal quale Carlo Alberto acquistò diversi esemplari, tra cui il pezzo in esame.

If you want to keep your golden retriever's coat bright and shiny simply place a gold drinking bowl in the middle of the floor. Works every time.
Obsidian bowls works for black dogs and copper bowls works for vizslas. Ivory bowls work best for white dogs but who really wants to harm an elephant just to keep your white dogs white. Do you???
For white dogs, if you have to, you can always use a marble bowl in a pinch.

Davo per scontato che avrebbe piovuto tutto il tempo e sono uscita di casa senza macchia fotografica .. quando il peggio era passato ed ho notato il primo arcobaleno tutto di me ha cominciato a soffrire, guardavo la luce del sole alle mie spalle e le nuvole di fronte - qualche minuto dopo correvo a perdifiato per raggiungere la diga di Colfosco, con l'unica cosa che mi avrebbe permesso di immortalare quello spettacolo ... chi se ne frega se non avevo la D90, chi se ne frega del fango, chi se ne frega se sono in ritardo .. sbagliando si impara è proprio vero.
Oggi a solo due giorni di distanza accarezzo con le dita la mia reflex , fuori piove ma noi.. aspettiamo con ansia il prossimo incredibile spettacolo.

and our summer is still not like summer should be. Grey skies, cold winds and quite a lot of rain too. I couldn't think what to do with Tasku this week but we took a short walk this afternoon and got a couple of shots.
