（中央社記者楊思瑞台南24日電）台南市佳里區古蹟金唐殿舉辦每3年1科的五朝王醮大典，今天中午進行送王祭典。王船在市區道路繞行2公里後，抵達王船地，與大批添載品一同火化，場面相當壯觀。
佳里金唐殿主委蘇清進表示，俗稱蕭壟香的金唐殿香科是台南重要民俗，香科期間遶境時間長、區域廣闊且場面浩大。陣頭開路先鋒蜈蚣陣從18日起展開遶境，其餘陣頭19日加入，至22日結束遶境，昨天進行普渡儀式，今天送王。
王船在上午8時從金唐殿出發前往王船地，大批信眾一路跟隨，王船則沿途向兩旁民眾擲平安金、平安糖；不少店家擺出香案祭拜，並拿起水管向路面灑水。
廟方指出，此次王船添載品約有4噸重，在上午11時許火化，象徵消災解厄
