I believe that even when the photo isn't great, take it anyway! I've learned so much about my camera, photography and my creativity over the last 8 years of doing a daily photo, whether they be good or bad.
I'd say mistakes were made, but I actually think the pigeons were pretty pleased with themselves for flipping the feeder and dumping all the seed on the ground today.
...Or at least they were until the squirrels showed up.

The Sukhoi Su-22 (NATO reporting name: Fitter) is a variable-sweep wing Soviet attack aircraft developed from the Sukhoi Su-7 fighter-bomber. It enjoyed a long career in Soviet, later Russian, service and was widely exported to Eastern bloc and Middle Eastern air forces.

We can see the 57mm soviet rocket launcher UB-16. It was used in conjunction with other attack systems such as missiles, and was employed in various systems of Soviet origin, since fixed-wing aircraft (like the MiG-23) to attack helicopters (Like the Mi-24 Hind). The UB-16 launch the S-5 Rocket.
The point I don't understand is this Sukhoi Su-22 is equiped with a UB-16. This model was most time equiped with UB-32 launchers.

Messier 22 (NGC 6656) is an elliptical globular cluster in Sagittarius, near the Galactic bulge region. It is one of the brightest globulars visible in the night sky and one of the nearer at a distance of about 10,600 light-years. It spans 32' on the sky which translates to a spatial real diameter of 99 ± 9 light-years.
It was one of the first globular clusters to be carefully studied first by Harlow Shapley in 1930.
M22 is very unusual in that it is one of only four globulars (the others being M15, NGC 6441 and Palomar 6) that are known to contain a planetary nebula.

Something simple and minimal for a Friday. It was a long week with work and so when it finally came time to shut down for the weekend I was feeling a little drained.
Luckily I had these flowers hanging around for a quick photo.

Northern Quarter, Manchester
Little bit unsure about posting this image but since it's adjacent to the Papua New Guinea Child I thought I should upload it now rather than later and it be isolated in my stream. It has been painted on the end wall of the Koffee Pot cafe in Oldham St by the graffiti artist Russell Meeham, also known as 'Qubek'.
Following the attack at the Manchester Arena on the 22nd May 2017, Russell painted the old toilet block in Stevenson Square with bees and two hands joined together in a heart. This prompted the M.E.N. to commission him to create this mural. Each bee, pictured swarming around a honey heart, represents one of the innocent people killed in the horrific attack.
Working from atop a cherry picker armed with dozens of cans of spray paint and some music, Russ spent two days creating his masterpiece. The Cafe bosses have previously turned down all requests for it to be used for a mural but kindly agreed to this one.
I've deliberately shot this through the security gate lock of the surrounding fencing to give it some context to its location - an understated and out of the way memorial.

#day22 #22of365 It was a beautiful day today, so we took advantage of the good weather with a walk around Ranscombe Nature Reserve.
Swan's death
I promised you a couple of more demanding shots and here it goes. We drove for 2 hours to reach this location (it's Bohinj) and it was totally worth it. The weather was somewhat of a gamble; it was raining heavily and we had to wait for 45 minutes to go on the actual location. But when the shooting was scheduled, everything fell into place. This lovely mist above the surface of the lake was more than I could hope for. I would be happy just to have clouds. BTW; this is all natural light (no flashes).
Big thanks for this goes to this wonderful ballerina. Her name is Tjaša and she is in national rhythmic gymnastics team. I wanted a model who will look authentic in this dress and she was my first and only choice.
Another thanks goes to my assistants; Mojca and David who patently did more than I asked of them.
And last but not least; thanks to Salsa dance store where I borrowed these beautiful outfits.
