Visible from around 11pm onwards, I sat outside for almost half an hour whilst the cloud was slowly thickening in the hope of seeing a halo, and my patience paid off! From around 11pm until 11:20pm the halo became visible. I photographed with 2 cameras, one fitted with a wide angle lens attachment

This picture was taken with a Canon 1100D with 18-55mm lens
