Denk aan een speciaal kado voor een speciaal iemand (bijvoorbeeld je geliefde), zoals het afdrukken van jouw/jullie foto op Canvas, Mokken, Muismat etc. Wat je je maar kunt voorstellen! Maar ook een kwalitatieve afdruk op een printer thuis of bij een fotozaak kan natuurlijk met je nabestelling. Voor maar 2,50 Euro stuur ik je de high res. foto(s) toe. The MONTANE Spine Challenger is a non-stop, 108 mile race between Edale and Hawes with a time limit of 60hrs. This challenging and technical section of the Pennine Way is a physically and psychologically demanding route that demands concentration, good physical fitness, resolve and respect. The MONTANE Spine Challenger is a notoriously difficult event in its own right and should be considered as having a similar degree of difficulty as the longer MONTANE Spine Race.
From appearances alone, 60 hours looks like ample time to complete this course. However, appearances can be deceptive. The rugged and very technical nature of this race is mentally taxing, as you have to constantly be aware of foot placement in icy conditions, weather systems, navigation, available daylight and self-management.

1963 Chrysler Turbine Ghia Coupe shown by Mary & Ted Stahl
While the turbine program dates back to 1930s, it did not become a going concern until the ’50s. The then-new fourth-generation A-831 engine in this featured coupe could burn just about anything — diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, peanut oil, and, if you can believe it, tequila. Just not regular leaded gasoline. In spite of the engine’s dizzying revs – it idled at 22,000 rpm and topped out at 44,500 rpm – it only produced 130 hp, although its 425 lb-ft of torque is a very good number, even by today’s standards.
A total of 55 cars were built. Five were early prototypes; 50 were used for a “public user” program. In all, 203 drivers were each given a three-month trial of the car before Chrysler cancelled the program and scrapped all but nine of the Turbines in 1966. Of the remaining units, three stayed with Chrysler; the rest were donated to museums. Some are now in the hands of private collectors like Jay Leno.

Net-winged Snailkiller (Pherbina coryleti) found in the Orton Moss Nature Reserve near Carlisle, 21 September 24.
This species is fairly common in the southern half of the UK, although there are currently only 11 county sightings listed on iRecord - none in the Carlisle area.
However, there are other similar species, and so there is some uncertainty regarding the ID.
Any feedback from iRecord will be noted...
