Something we're not used to around here: snow. And about 3 to 6 inches of the stuff, too. A bit east of me was blizzard warnings. Here, it stopped snowing by late morning, and the sun came out to melt the snow in the afternoon. Still, way too cold for my blood. Despite layers, my feet are still like popsicles.
Now it's supposed to get to 20 degrees or colder tonight, so that melting will turn into ice on the roads, and that's where we have problems. Driving in Texas is different, fast and dangerous. Iced highways is worse than what little snow I've drove in. I have plenty of experience with being caught on a highway that iced over. So, no travel until after the sun comes up and melts everything again. After that, we should be good for a bit.
The question is, will my daily driver (behind me) crank up or not. That battery has been weak as of late and I'm not expecting it to survive. I'll guess I'll find out tomorrow when I try to crank it up.
