Week 21 - 26 May - 3 June
Was going through my archives this week and found this from almost a year ago. I decided to post this, because I haven't done much this week as far as photography for the week goes and I really haven't posted a nice black and white in a while. So here you go, took this in Sydney at the mall. More next week.
Day 21 of #AllanAugust with Minty, my trickster Allan. I really love the combination of this mint green with pastel pink hair so I’ve been wanting an Allan in this combination for a long time.
I also handmade all of his clothes asides from his shoes cuz I had a particular vision in mind for him.
I ran into Kellyhime(DoA) by an accident, and she still remembered me from two years ago! I mean, what are the chances for something like that?
This is her gorgeous Masha. She'd been sat on a vendors table for a minute, and when I came to ask if I can take photos she fit in so well that I thought she's part of the set up.

Wednesday, 21 October 2020, saw the attestation ceremonies of Greater Manchester Police's latest constables.
The socially distanced ceremonies saw them swear the Police Oath in front of magistrate Stephen Paine JP and assume their powers as constables.
Chief Constable Ian Hopkins was joined by Dr. Eamonn O’Neal, High Sheriff of Greater Manchester as they welcomed the new recruits to the force.
New recruits have to complete a two year probation period. This includes a range of training inputs and a year of active patrol.
The new recruits are replacing those who have either retired or left the organisation and therefore helping GMP to maintain current officer numbers.
You should call 101, the national non-emergency number, to report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response.
Always call 999 in an emergency, such as when a crime is in progress, violence is being used or threatened or where there is danger to life.
You can also call anonymously with information about crime to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Crimestoppers is an independent charity who will not want your name, just your information. Your call will not be traced or recorded and you do not have to go to court or give a statement.

Bruce is Stranger #21 in my 100 Strangers Project. He is the Police Chief of Lavonia, Georgia. When one wants a suggestion for a good place to eat in a town who better to ask than the Chief of Police. Note the toothpick...ha ha!!! He sent us to a Cafe/Bakery and the food was good but the bread was fantastic as were the desserts!!! Thanks, Bruce, for your smiling face, wonderful recommendation, and for being my Stranger #21!!!

My 52 week project was supposed to be strictly self portraits, but I feel a little burned out, so now each week I'll upload something I have shot, not necessarily myself.
This week in studio lighting, we shot dancers. I had to use my speedlight since there weren't enough strobes for all of us to use, although at the end I got a hold of one (for this shot) and before the strobe wonked out from over use, I shot this.And this was the only photo I liked out of all of them.
(some more here, but more to come in other blog/flickr posts in the future. I didn't want to bombard you with 90+)
It was weird directing people to pose when I know nothing about dance, But by the end they ended up moving with the shutter click and it became a lot easier.
They are all so amazing.
I could of did better, I could of did better.
I only brought my 50mm lens!!! So It was REDICULOUS to try to fit in all their moves and such in a frame without cutting out parts, it was a challenge. And focusing was wack with the gross lighting in the building.
I want to redo this shoot, But I can't for now.
+ Campus isn't a good enough atmosphere.

This was my last week of being a teenager.
I went to this old town and I want to live there.
I don't know what I am doing.
I wrote a lot.

Moments after the installation of a Canada's new governor general a 21-gun salute was fired at Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
This is a D-21 drone, originally developed to be deployed from the back of a modified A-12 Blackbird. Designated an M-21 after the modification, the A-12 was the CIA precursor to the SR-71 Blackbird. Only two M-21's were made, only one survives, and it is on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington.
This D-21 is at the AMARG Boneyard at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona.
Mehrere hundert bis maximal 1000 Neonazis, Reichsbürger und Querdenker*innen zogen am Sonntag Nachmittag durch Dresden-Laubegast. Die Personen sammelten sich vor 16 Uhr und zogen anschließend ca. eine Stunde durch den Dresdner Ortsteil. An der Demonstration beteiligten sich vorbestrafte Neonazis z.B. von der FKD (Freie Kameradschaft Dresden), III.Weg und weitere organisierte Neonazis. Auch AfD Politiker wie MdL Wendt oder der Pressesprecher der AfD Stadtratsfraktion Müller beteiligten sich. Einige der Teilnehmer*innen trugen Passivbewaffnungen mit sich.
Die Polizei zeigte trotz offensichtlicher Mobilisierung im voraus so gut wie keine Präsenz. Lediglich 3-5 Beamte und 1-3 Polizeifahrzeuge begleiteten den Aufzug. Bereits bevor sich die Personen in Bewegung setzten, erklärte der Einsatzleiter, dass man den Aufzug nicht unterbinden würde - zu wenige Kräfte.
Auch der Schutz der Presse konnte während des Aufzuges nicht ansatzweise gewährleistet werden. Eine freie Berichterstattung war auf Grund der aggressiven Stimmung nicht möglich und Journalist*innen konnten sich nur am Ende des Aufzuges, in der Nähe der 3 Beamten, aufhalten. Dennoch kam es mehrfach zu Bedrängungen/Anfassen durch Teilnehmer*innen.
Gegen 17:15 Uhr kam die Demo am Ausgangspunkt an, wo die Polizei wenige zusätzliche Kräfte bereitstellte und die Teilnehmer*innen sich in die Seitenstraßen verteilten. Mehrere einschlägige Neonazis und Querdenker blieben dennoch vor Ort. Die Polizei sprach die Personen nicht an und verteilte keine Platzverweise. Den Journalist*innen gegenüber erklärten die Polizist*innen, dass sie jetzt ihren Einsatz beenden würden und wir deshalb uns entfernen sollen bzw. auf eigene Gefahr da bleiben würden.

Hi everyone, late again but to be honest I was not sure about today's picture, I had two ideas but finally I decided to do and post this one, I think the other shot will be more cool in another Alphabet set, so maybe, maybe I will do a new alphabet again or just probably include one shot of one letter each week, what do you think?
Well, about today's shot, I was thinking on integrate again this little friend which was in some photos on my 365.2011 project. I wanted to do a portrait but the question was, which kind of portrait, so I tried in front of the mirror and then it came this idea of "Vanity", yeah I know, my ideas are not that funny...
Anyways this is my today's shot, now going to sleep and read you tomorrow!
