I managed to rent a cottage and become Nicky full time from Monday afternoon to Friday morning. I did wonder whether I would get tired of her before the Friday - how wrong I was! i absolutely loved it - to the point that I wonder, had things been different, would I actually have wanted to live full time as Nicky. I'll never know that for sure as I am happily married with wonderful kids who I would not swap for the world.

But I still wonder, if I had been growing up in todays world, with the internet and more awareness/acceptance, I think I just might have taken the female route.

I work hard at trying to look as convincingly female as possible and that is a very important aspect for Nicky. When I am her I feel and act female, part of being Nicky is me being a woman.

It's hard to explain the feeling of contentment and female sexuality I feel when Nicky and it's frustrating that I can't be her more. Sigh!!

The object in the middle of this image, sitting alone within a star-studded cosmos, is a galaxy known as ESO 486-21. ESO 486-21 is a spiral galaxy — albeit with a somewhat irregular and ill-defined structure — located some 30 million light-years from Earth.

The Hubble Space Telescope observed this object while performing a survey — the Legacy ExtraGalactic UV Survey (LEGUS) — of 50 nearby star-forming galaxies. The LEGUS sample was selected to cover a diverse range of galactic morphologies, star formation rates, galaxy masses, and more. Astronomers use such data to understand how stars form and evolve within clusters, and how these processes affect both their home galaxy and the wider universe. ESO 486-21 is an ideal candidate for inclusion in such a survey as it is known to be in the process of forming new stars, which are created when large clouds of gas and dust (seen here in pink) within the galaxy crumple inwards upon themselves.

LEGUS made use of Hubble’s Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) and Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS). The WFC3 obtained detailed observations of the target objects while the ACS obtained what are known as parallel fields — instead of leaving ACS idle, it was instead trained on a small patch of sky just offset from the target field itself, allowing it to gather additional valuable information while the primary target was being observed by WFC3. Parallel fields played an important role in Hubble’s Frontier Fields program, which used the magnifying power of large galaxy clusters (via a phenomenon known as gravitational lensing) to explore objects in the distant universe.

A continuación, se seca y se espolvorea en polvo del mismo cacao que se utiliza para hacer el licor, antes de terminar con virutas y botones de chocolate blanco y leche en la parte superior del queso.

Сегодня закончила читать "Любовь во время холеры" Габриэля Гарсии Маркеса. Прекрасная книга, мне будет ее не хватать. Маркес невероятно точно и выразительно передает реалии жизни, со всеми ее нелицеприятными деталями, и в то же время добавляет в повествование что-то нереально, даже фантастичное.

Это самая необычная история любви которую я встречала. О разной любви, которая сопровождает нас всю жизнь. Любовь юности, пылкая и нетерпеливая, зрелая любовь в браке, которая больше похожа на слаженный танец, который можно отточить до совершенства, и о той бессмертной любви, которая переживает все остальное, и растворяет в себе все что было до и будет после нее.

Я под впечатлением, даже не хочется пока ничего нового начинать...

And your features will be slightly different in the months and weeks from today. You have long lost the full baby face you claimed for so many years and in it's place are those cheekbones much like my own. But the freckles. The freckles seem to be here to stay and that makes my heart happy. Those are from daddy and I prayed you would get them.

I thought I would be terrified of the teenage years, but oh Lily. I am so loving getting to know you. You are lovely.
