Annalisa is stranger number 21 in my "100 strangers" project. Decided to go back in the streets and going on with my project after a long time, i met Annalisa and her friend (stranger n. 22) in the city center of Lecce. When i stopped them and asked to collaborate with my project they accepted easily so i could take some picture... and this one is my fovourite. She has a really photogenic face and in this picture a cute shyness is coming out, making this picture natural and warming... in my opinion!! :-) Another one is gone! Thank u Annalisa!

paused for a moment as we headed out the door to work / daycare. She gave me the sweetest look and this little hidden teeth smile that is the same as mine when I was little.
The first one I've seen this year. Tech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@ 4x) + a diffused MT-24EX. This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held.

This picture is #21 in the 100 Strangers Project - Round 3
Was visiting family in Mumbai, India for a short vacation last month. The incessant but necessary rains really dampened a lot of plans making general travel within the city challenging - especially with the traffic. But still had the odd opportunity to walk around seeking strangers for the project. The next few encounters are, in no particular order, from my Mumbai days.

Meet Shaveta
Shaveta was in fact the first stranger I photographed during my visit to Mumbai, Having just traveled back home after a few years was still toying with the idea of moving the project further but was still adjusting to the newer environment. so was quite hesitant.
Was at a mall and while stopping by the food court for a quick lunch came across Shaveta with a a tall good looking dude who I later learned was her brother Nishanth. Its quite easy to the young lady is very beautiful and can grab attention even in a crowd. with her fabulous personality. And did I mention the sharp eyes? I waited for a while for them to finish lunch before approaching them at their table. As challenging as this is, its a little tougher when your subject has a 6 and half feet companion. But after hearing me out for a few minutes, Shaveta agreed with a smile to be on the project.
Shaveta is a doctor by profession - specializing in Ayurveda. A multi-faceted personality she is a artist at heart and has varied interests. She loves dancing, acting reading, writing and modelling. In fact she was in Mumbai for an audition for lending her voice for a commercial campaign. She also loves travelling - recently she had been to Nagaland.
What is her favorite quality of herself - that she can keep a positive attitude and ability to be happy at all times. If I cant be happy, then how can I treat others as a doctor was her simple yet deeply insightful observation.
We then proceeded to find a few spots in the mall to shoot a few quick pictures - although the overhead lights did make it a challenge. Funnily the mall security allows mobile pictures but thinks anything with a DSLR as a commercial shoot - so we had to move fast for a few clicks by the window. But Shaveta was confidence personified with her posing and expressions. Turns out that she was infact a winner of the Glitter Miss India pageant in 2014. I can't help giving myself kudos finding such standout strangers - jokes aside there definitely was something special about her even from a distance.
Nishant was a big help providing valuable suggestions and encouraging his sister. In fact we did a few quick clicks of the young man as we waited outside for his cab to arrive and was easy to see that modelling possibly runs in the family.
Thank you Shaveta (and Nishant) for all your time and trust doing these picture It was great making your acquaintance and I quite enjoyed photographing you. I wish you both a lot of success and best wishes for your future

By 1976 London Country vehicles at Leatherhead presented a more modern appearance than a few years earlier, but LT route 71 retained its RTs. RT2663 (LYR647) and BN38 (GPD306N) stand at the Garage on 21 September 1976.

2021 war das Jahr, in dem das zweite Stadt-NEF Saarbrückens vom DRK auf die Malteser überging und so seine hier überall bekannte Bezeichnung 19-21 verlor. Dasselbe Fahzeug fährt seit Sommer für die Rettungswache 1-7 unter der Bezeichung 17-21 (korrekt: Rettung Saar 17-82-1) für den Malteser Hilfsdienst mit den Intensivmedizinern und Anästhesisten des Caritasklinikums Saarbrücken. (Aktuelles Foto mit neuer Bezeichnung kommt hoffentlich bald.) Hier sehen wir das letzte gemeinsame Foto mit dem zweiten vom Caritasklinikum Saarbrücken und dem DRK gemeinsam betriebenen NEF 15-21 (Standort Saarbrücken-Dudweiler) vom Juni diesen Jahres. Es war eine gute Zusammenabreit mit dem DRK, aber auch die Malteser machen einen fantastischen Job! Mit dem DRK arbeiten wir weiterhin zusammen auf dem 15-21.
2021 was the year in which Saarbrücken's second city-NEF (Emergency doctors rescue vehicle) was transferred from the German Red Cross to the Malteser Hilfsdienst and thus lost its designation 19-21, which is known everywhere here. Since the summer, the same vehicle has been driving for the rescue station 1-7 under the designation 17-21 (correct: rescue Saar 17-82-1) for the Malteser Hilfsdienst with the intensive care doctors and anaesthetists of the Caritasklinikum Saarbrücken. (Current photo with new designation coming soon, hopefully.) Here we see the last photo together with the second NEF 15-21 (location Saarbrücken-Dudweiler) jointly operated by the Caritasklinikum Saarbrücken and the DRK from June this year. It was a good teamwork with the DRK, but the Maltesers are also doing a fantastic job! We continue to work with the Red Cross on the 15-21.
We took a trip up to Arkansas for Memorial Day weekend. We are staying at a house on the lake. It's a beautiful time of year to be in the Ozarks!
In this shot, Dolce is standing on the boat dock with the stone cliffs as the background across the lake. I thought the coloring in the cliffs was lovely and complemented Dolce's coat nicely.
