Op vrijdag 17 oktober reikte HR-dienstengroep ADMB samen met zijn externe preventiedienst Provikmo in het Concertgebouw in Brugge voor de veertiende keer de ADMB Awards uit.

El Joputa cansado de la tecnología de la Tierra decidió seguir su instinto para poder localizar una señal que le llevase a su objetivo.... localizar la Estrella Azul.
Tras varias horas rastreando la ciudad por fin pudo localizar esa señal que tanto buscaba.
Estaba Exagerarte volviendo para casa cuando de pronto se le pone delante el Joputa impidiéndole el paso.
- Exagerarte: Joder lo que me faltaba hoy era un subnormal disfrazado de Rococop.
- Joputa: No quiero ser hostil, sólo necesito que me guíes hacia la Estrella.
- Exagerarte: Encima fumado.... pues podrías darme un poco de eso que te has metido en el cuerpo y de esa forma todos vemos estrellas... jajajaja
- Joputa: No tengo tiempo para decodificar lo que intentas decirme.... yo busco una Estrella y tu puedes ayudarme.. de lo contrario dejarás de ser útil y....
- Exagerarte: Ehhh tranquilo, tranquilo.... ahhh joder tu buscas la Agencia Perfects Models para que te hagan una sesión... por eso lo de la mierda de la estrella... y yo que pensaba que la publicidad no servia para nada. Toma un folleto, sólo tienes que ver el mapita que hay detrás, el te llevará a TU ESTRELLA (en plan cachandeo) y por cierto.... que la fuerza te acompañe!!! ... esa frase no era de Robocop ¿verdad?

Mary and Jim (and Bella and& Sydney) were relaxing in the shade at the Belmont Street Fair in Portland. Jim saw my Yashica Mat and we started talking about old camera - he used to own a Rolleiflex. I was happy to get out the sun too.
This is number 1 in my third round of the 100 Strangers project (#201 overall). I spent 40 months on my first 100 Strangers and 27 months on my second 100 Strangers, I should be done with my third round in 18 months at that rate.

This is the time of year when the house spider, Tegenaria gigantean, is most noticeable, when it has fallen in the sink or bath and is unable to scramble out. The large and hairy specimen is likely to be the male spider, having had this misadventure while roaming the house looking for a female partner. The size, hairiness, and tendency to dash across floors when disturbed makes these spiders particularly unnerving when they reach their largest size at this time of year.
For speed they are in the Olympic class, supposed to be able to run at half a metre a second. The males have smaller bodies but longer legs, with a span that can reach up to 75mm (3 ins). Although they are most noticeable at this time of year, these spiders are almost always with us: houses, log piles, sheds and garages being their preferred habitats.
The spiders build a flat web with a funnel into which they retreat to avoid predators and wait for their own food supply to arrive – unsuspecting insects which crawl across the web. They run out and pounce on what to humans are other unpopular house guests, beetles, earwigs, cockroaches and woodlice. In sheltered places these sturdy webs can be used for months and even years by successive generations of spiders.
This species takes two years to mature and can survive for months without food or water and usually has to when the food supply of smaller insects disappears in the winter. When the males find a mate at this time of year they guard her until her final moult next month when she becomes sexually active. Frequent mating takes place. Contrary to popular belief the females do not eat their partners until the males have died a natural death, exhausted by their mating efforts. By providing a large meal he helps to ensure the survival of his offspring.

#day201 #201of366 An early morning forage for blackberries, during which I saw this bee in one of the blackberry flowers that are still around. I've read that bees sometimes sleep in flowers, so I hope this one was only asleep. The camera was very close.
