A unique Solstice for us as the sun never set at all and the light was perfect. This is an image of Austnesfiord just north of Svolvar in the Lofoten Islands. The Lofoten’s were without question the highlight of the trip. Mostly we travelled by various boats and trains but for a couple of days I hired a car so we could properly explore the various Islands in the Lofoten group.
They are well North of the Arctic Circle but due to the influence of the Gulf Stream the climate in Northern Norway is not too extreme the temperature on the day I took this shot was about 10 C so perfectly comfortable

Las Alfonsadas son una recreación histórica medieval de la Reconquista de Calatayud por el rey aragonés Alfonso I "El Batallador" en el año 1120.
Visualmente es un espectáculo porque toda la ciudad hace un viaje en el tiempo para recrear el ambiente de la reconquista, llenándose de escudos y adornos. Se puede disfrutar en el primer fin de semana de junio, durante todos los días de la fiesta, de un enorme mercado medieval, que llena la Plaza de España y todas las calles del casco antiguo, espectáculos y atracciones medievales, exhibición de aves rapaces, danzas, juegos, cuentacuentos, luchas de caballeros, torneos, conciertos, espectáculos de calle….
