Spring time in the Rockies can bring with it some heavy wet snow. Capture of a couple of Rocky Mountain Ram Sheep, on highway 93, just south of Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia.
There are an estimated 140 bighorn sheep in Radium Hot Springs, B.C. and they are vulnerable to human activity, in particular, motor vehicles.
There may have been approximately 250 sheep in Radium two decades ago, but now, perhaps 140.
The solution some believe is a wildlife overpass which should reduce the number of sheep being hit by cars.
Slow down and be aware
This Cypress tree is home to many birds. There is an Osprey nest in the top, Anhinga's on the lower limb with a couple of herons there too.
Type "L" for a better view.

Photographed the Acorn Woodpecker at the Welk Resort in Escondido in San Diego County California U.S.A.
Note the cash of acorns in the bark crevices.
