Our first morning in BRUGES started at 5am an early start to beat the crowds of sightseers to have Bruges to ourselves, a clever ploy that worked so well by about 7.30 that morning the rain arrived perfectly on time for dramatic reflective streets, and a well earned breakfast.

I have shot this scene many, many times but I was tempted to shoot the scene again as it was my first time to see those dramatic clouds from above at twilight when I passed by the Helix Bridge a few moments ago.

桜田門に行くと必ず思い出すフレーズが、「梅じゃないもん、桜田門」というやつでして、いい加減困っています。

それはさておき、今年は桜田門改修中ですので、このような風景は見ることができません。これは去年撮影したものてす。撮影データによりますと12/04/10, 8:03:30となっています。去年は4月の10日で満開でしたので、やはり今年は10日ぐらいは満開が早いイメージでしょうか。来年は、綺麗になった渡り櫓と、満開の桜を撮影できたらいいですね。
