Capiva solo che nulla è più forte di quell'istinto a tornare dove ci hanno spezzato, e a replicare quell'istante per anni.

Solo pensando che chi ci ha salvati una volta lo possa poi fare per sempre. In un lungo inferno identico a quello da cui veniamo. Ma d'improvviso clemente.

E senza sangue.

After fighting the Zombie Nurse Intestinal Virus, I feel totally drained of ideas for photography. So I invited my friend Whit over to be in tonight's 365 shot. Thank goodness Whitney came, or this shot would have been really boring.

They say with a 365 project a photographer hits a wall of non-creativity. I've experienced that. Work, however, gives birth to inspiration. Sometimes we must simply press on. Thanks Whit, for giving me a few more minutes of your time tonight.

When we reached the Saarschleife just before sunset it was coverd completely with fog. It took about 3 hours of warm sun to dissolve the fog and open the view to the Saarschleife.

probably my favorite image from 2012. taken in monument valley, ut. it doesn't have any monuments in it. or any valleys for that matter.

RIP space shuttle program. we'll miss you. yeah, that's not really a shuttle, either.

ho hey. you can see this image printed in B&W Magazine Issue #95 if you are so inclined. page 210. apparently. i actually haven't seen it yet.
