Spanish moss (Tillandsia usneoides) is an epiphytic flowering plant that often grows upon large trees in tropical and subtropical climates. It is native to much of Mexico, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Central America, South America, the Southern United States, and West Indies.

Walking on the outskirts of the village of Arslanbob, a village, sub district, valley, mountain range, and a large wild walnut (Juglans regia) forest in the Jalal-Abad Region of Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan's first known export to Europe was the Arslanbob walnut.

The Cosmopolitan is a hotel and restaurant located in Old Town San Diego which is registered as a National Historic Landmark. The Cosmopolitan goes back 175 years. It all started with a pioneer named Juan Lorenzo Bandini. He settled the area in the 1800s. The interesting part of the story is that since the remodeling of the place started, strange things have started to happen, there have been lots of ghost sightings, according to visitors spirits roam the property.

I keep a journal. Every year I do a self-portrait that best exemplifies my current interest. This I post on the 1st page of the book. While I'm not totally into the Peter Max thing, this image shows my continued interest in what my iPad-2 and its apps are beckoning me to explore.

Part of the “new order” at East Midlands Railways in the form of Class 180 Adelante 180110 approaching Attenborough working 1B38, 11:45 Nottingham – St Pancras, 19th December 2020. This viewpoint has changed somewhat over the last few weeks with the demolition of Attenborough gravel works.
Unit History
180110 is one of fourteen units built by Alstom between 2000 and 2001 at Washwood Heath, Birmingham for express duties on the Great Western Main Line. They are part of the Alstom Coradia 1000 family of multiple units (along with the class 175) and are capable of 125mph. However their introduction was plagued by a number of reliability issues and First Great Western have gradually downgraded their use as they acquired additional HST sets until it finally disposed of the class during 2008/09. Following their discarding by First Great Western 180110 was one of four Class 180 units leased by First Hull Trains for Hull – Kings Cross duties and remained on these until displaced by Class 802 IEP units in early 2020. Following a period of crew training and a re-livery into East Midlands Railways colours it commenced Midland Main Line duties at the start of the new timetable on the 14t
