Went to a rather large supercar show and I took precisely 7 photos of just 2 cars. Oh well.

Sunset at Garnet Lake, Ansel Adams Wilderness, California.
This is similar to another image from my JMT series. Please view my other JMT images in my JMT set.
It had rained and hailed earlier and it was overcast most of the day but just before sunset the clouds began to break.
This is the sunset over Garnet Lake as seen from my campsite. The clouds were awash in colors and it is a sunset I won't forget.
It is a single exposure made with a Nikon D7000, Tokina 11-16mm and CPL.

時序又到了六十石金黃盛開的季節，今年的花季比往年晚開始約半個月，所以以往只能持續到九月中，但今年應該可以持續到九月底~
今年運氣還不錯，到達時再度遇到耶穌光灑落在小瑞士上，但是美景持續的時間就不像去年一樣長了，可以一路從耶穌光灑落一直拍到紅霞滿天，接著再繼續拍星軌，而是短短半小時之後就開始霧鎖，逼得我們只到了晚上九點就決定放棄六十石轉戰他處了~ >"<
不過能夠再度親眼看到這幅不太真實的美景，還是值得啦~ ^^

C'est mon chien Dobly, il avait fait "Explore" avec cette photo l'an passé. Il est né le 31 décembre 1999 et il est mort le 5 décembre 2011. J'éprouve une très grande tristesse face à cette perte, mais combien je garderai de beaux souvenirs de ces 12 années de bonheur avec ce chien formidable.
Rien ne nous appartient vraiment, tout nous est prêté pour un temps.

It is my dog Dolby, he did "Explore" with this photo last year. He was born December 31, 2000 and died December 5, 2011. I feel a great sadness about this loss, but how I would keep fond memories of those 12 years of happiness with this wonderful dog.
Nothing really belongs to us, everything is given to us for a while.

Sorry that this photo is a slight variation of the one I did last newyears but I blew all my free time this week on the two Star Trek / Gilligan’s Island items and didn’t have time to do something new.
Reeuwijk Raid 2011 (sailing race on the 'Reeuwijkse plassen', The Netherlands).
This image was taken by a camera lofted by a kite. The weather was difficult: frequent strong wind gusts and heavy showers. The weather changed for the better at the end of the race, allowing this shot where the participants are moored to a small yellow buoy.

taking the air
it's been a week of bathroom renovations. Lots of dust and banging and staying indoors, which whilst being interesting unfortunately is not very photogenic...
Sunday arrived with better weather and we headed out for a day in the open air up on Kinder Scout. This rock can be found at the end of Chinese Wall above Fair Brook on the Kinder Northern Edges.

Such beautiful person. Seemingly a wallflower, she can brighten up a day with her unique approach to life; light, sweet and filled with refreshing naivety and humour. Things are seen in brighter lights when she's around. Laughter is never far away around our wall flower.
