Hundertwasserhaus, an apartment house in Vienna, Austria, built after the idea and concept of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser with architect Joseph Krawina as a co-author. This expressionist landmark of Vienna is located in the Landstraße district on the corner of Kegelgasse and Löwengasse. In the end the house was built between 1983 and 1985 according to the ideas and concepts of Hundertwasser with architect Univ.-Prof. Joseph Krawina as a co-author and architect Peter Pelikan as a planner. It features undulating floors ('an uneven floor is a divine melody to the feet'), a roof covered with earth and grass, and large trees growing from inside the rooms, with limbs extending from windows. Hundertwasser took no payment for the design of the house, declaring that it was worth it, to prevent something ugly from going up in its place.
I took these pictures with a small digital camera in June 2003, when visiting Vienna with a friend and three children.

A Hundertwasser-ház (németül: Hundertwasserhaus) egy társasház Bécsben, melyet Friedensreich Hundertwasser tervezett. Bécs 3. kerületében található, a Kegelgasse 34-38 szám alatt.
A házat 1983 és 1986 között épÃtette Joseph Krawina és Peter Pelikan. Újdonsága a hullámzó, egyenetlen padló, a tetÅ‘t fűvel és földdel fedték be, és nagy fák nÅ‘ttek ki a szobákból, az ágaik az ablakokon nÅ‘ttek ki. Hundertwasser nem fogadott el fizetséget a ház megtervezéséért, mert szerinte már az megérte, hogy nem épül a helyére valami csúfság. A házon belül van 52 lakás, 4 iroda, 16 privát, és 3 közös terasz, valamint összesen 250 fa és bokor. A Hundertwasser-ház Bécs egyik leglátogatottabb épülete, ami Ausztria kulturális örökségének is része lett.

This 2003 Monte Carlo came in to have some custom Ghost Flames added to the hood and front fenders. we sprayed a pearl over the stock color so the flames would only be visible in certain light or form a particular angle.

Saint-Maurice and Saint Maur Benedictine Abbey, situated close to the town of Clervaux, Luxembourg. Halldór Laxness (1902–1998), the Nobel Prize-winning Icelandic writer, converted to Roman Catholicism while visiting the Abbey.
Pictures taken in Clervaux, Luxembourg, in July 2003. I took my son and a friend and visited the Benelux states, living in my brother's Belgian home and making road trips in the area. This day, we visited places of interest in rural Luxembourg.
