Das Erzbergwerk Sierra Menera wurde 1900 gegründet und bis 1987 in Betrieb. Bekannt wurde die Mine durch die eigene Eisenbahnstrecke zwischen dem Bergwerk und dem Hafen Sagunto. Diese Strecke wurde 1972 stillgelegt. Danach war das Bergwerk noch an das RENFE Netz angeschlossen.

Köln 02.2002: Im September 2001 konnte die Rheinparkbahn diese 1959 gebaute sogenannte Porsche Lok erwerben. Die von der Sollinger Hütte gebaute Lok war vorher im Hamburger Park Planten und Blomen und im Dortmunder Westfalenpark im Einsatz gewesen. 1971 verkehrte sie zur Buga in Köln. Im Februar 2002 wurde die Lok der Kölner Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt.

These really have disappeared quickly. I occasionally see one on a private plate around locally (think it appeared in the background of another shot I took last year!), but that's about it. Even a couple of years ago these were a regular sighting, but not anymore. Given the rust visible on this one I suspect it might not have much longer left itself.

Discussions then followed with Waterford Glass and a £1 million bid was agreed. In 1970 John Aynsley and Sons was taken over by Waterford and renamed Aynsley China Ltd. In 1987 Waterford sold the company in order to focus the group's fine china sales on the worldwide Wedgwood brand. In May 1997, Aynsley China was acquired by The Belleek Pottery Group in Ireland. The company closed its Stoke-on-Trent factory in September 2014
