Look back to 2002, 2003 and 2004 Caroling in Bristol, Indiana. Members of the Bristol Police Reserves, Marshal's Posse and friends and families held their first community caroling event on Dec. 8, 2002. Andy Yeager brought his horses and wagon to carry the group who toured the town, stopping to serenade. They hoped to make it an annual event. On Dec. 7, 2003, the group held the 2nd annual event with Clint and Andy Yeager of Bonneyville Carriage Rides carrying the group. Hot cocoa, cookies and treats were served in the Police Garage to the carolers before they set off. Beth Christie and her daughter joined the group. Beth put together the songbooks used by the carolers. The 3rd and final caroling event was on Dec. 12, 2004, when 3 horse drawn wagons visited elderly and shut-in members of the community, like Chris Brown, Belle Morningstar and Mrs. Wagner to sing carols. Robin Bradley made many treats served before and after the event in the Police Garage. It is suspected that the role of Santa was played by Mike Swallow.(Note: 2002 larger photos not available.)

Reposting some images from the past that never made it onto Flickr. This was taken in 2002 with an old Moskva 5 folding camera on Fujichrome MS100/1000 slide film. I scanned it on a rented Coolscan 9000 and just revisited the PS file this afternoon.

This is an old film scan the I worked on today. I believe the shots were made with 800 asa film. The film grain is very obvious.

Last week I cut up all my negatives so that they could sit flat for a while before I scanned them. These three were still right next to each other, and I didn't notice until right before I put the strip in the scanner.
It was really neat to see the bridge go all the way up and let a few boats/ships through before going back down. The only thing that made me nervous was that just as the bridge started going up an ambulance pulled up and needed to cross, but it had to wait until after the boats had gone under. I hope everything was okay.
