Oak tree at bottom of my garden. There were , and often are, about 20. Then suddenly they all flew off together !
I was very lucky with shutter speed as had on aperture as they were all still, think 1/250 captures the movement of wings with bird reasonably clear.

Event Details for: Bullish Weekly Fast Stochastic
Tells Me: When the event is bullish, we may be facing higher prices as the price has risen out of oversold (%K crossed below 20 then rose again) and starting to trade higher up in the recent 14-bar high-to-low range (%K crossed above %D). The opposite is true for bearish events, where the price has fallen out of overbought and starting to trade lower in the recent high-to-low range. Stochastics is built on the premise that as prices increase, "close" prices tend to be closer to the upper end of the recent price range, and vice versa. The raw %K number looks at the most recent "close" price as a percentage of the high-to-low price range over a specified period of time (14 bars) so when %K is high, it's likely we're seeing upward pressure, and vice versa. %D is a 3-bar moving average of %K and is used as a signal line, indicating whether prices are starting to trade lower or higher within the recent high-to-low range. Both lines fluctuate between 0 and 100 with 20 and 80 often used to identify oversold and overbought conditions.

Noodlez asked if anyone had taken my photo yet. I hadn't thought about 365 at all yet, so glad he asked! Because I've stayed at home tonight (yes, shock! horror! a saturday night!) so glad I got my photo taken earlier.
And yes, that's a pyjama top I'm wearing. Thought, it wasn't that obvious to some people. Sheesh!
Edit: Ha, I estimated this photo was at 2.20. Then I checked, 2.21.
Was pretty windy today so I thought I'd head down for some seaplane shots. Unfortenately the wind died down to about 15 gusting 20 then started pouring rain.
Our friend is teaching us a bit more about photography, art etc, and she's setting us homework. This week's is to take 100 pictures of some building, print off 20, then play with 6 on photoshop and print them again. I was meant to take my work building, but I didn't have lunch hours when I could do that this week - busy busy - so we went down to the big empty old warehouse/factory that's by the River Avon, the Create centre and the ex-railway bridge. It's a fabulous building - all monumental redbrick. I'm sticking 20-or-so pics into my photostream to try to 'see' them in a different way. Printing, which is something I have odd reactions to (ridiculous mad thoughts like my pics aren't good enough to print) has been a really good experience - to hold them, in glossy full-colour. It reminds me I should start printing things as a matter of course.

As you may know, Toby is on Twitter as @Toby_Cat.
Toby collected enough votes to move up to the next round in a competition for ULTIMATE ANIMAL TWITTERER. Thanks to anyone who cast votes. There is ONE week to vote for @Toby_Cat as the top animal Twitterer in all of the Americas. If he can place in the top 20 then he will be able to take on the WORLD.
The competition is a bit skewed since the de facto top animal twitterer, @Sockington, did not campaign in the first round and did not make the cut. Without the clear number one, this is any critter’s competition.
You can cast a vote for EVERY animal you like, and you can cast a new vote for each animal after twenty minutes.
You can cast votes for @Toby_Cat or any other animal at http://tweeterwall.mallplace.com/tw/continental/the-americas-animal
Matthew 16: 13 - 20
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesare'a Philip'pi, he asked his disciples, "Who do men say that the Son of man is?" 14 And they said, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Eli'jah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." 17 And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." 20 Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.
At some point in everyones life, we all hear Christ ask us, who do you same I am. Everyone hears him, some clearer than others. But we must all answer him, not with our mouths, but with our hearts. Our hearts is the Key to what is important to us. The thing about Peter is that he loved Jesus and know who he was and Jesus gave him the Keys to the kingdom. God tends to not call the qualified but tends to qualify the call. If Jesus can give the Keys to the kingdom to Peter, who denied him 3 times, he can choose anyone to be the next great Christian leader.

Today was a really, really good day. First I had to do some groceries for my grandmother, she can't do them herself anymore. After that I felt like buying some new parfum. I did. It's amazing, I love it.
After that, I went to my nephew's birthday party. He turned 20.
Then I went to " The Bounty Hunter" with Bibi, Celine and Manda. I love them. I really do. We went to a cafe and just talked until the guy came up and said: it's already pretty late, we're closing up.
I love them. Love love love love.
It cools, it heats ... wonderful! This bad boy will cool our home in the summer and warm it until the outdoor temperature drops below 20*. Then, our furnace will take over. This is supposed to be much more efficient and cost effective.
Practicing night photography. The snow made wonderful shapes in the forest. Temperature about -20. Then the wind started to move branches and all the rest were blurred!
I was trying to get that contrasty, sometimes grainy film look using photoshop. It's hard to beat film black and white, alhtough I don't shoot film anymore. Anyway I used channel mixer monochrome adjustment layer with values of r 75 g25 b 20. Then added some noise with noise filter. It's close.

Day 8. We got out to Tel Aviv, heading north on highway 20, then stopped for breakfast at motorway services. I had a cappucino (which was nice, like all the coffee I had in Israel) and an average motorway-services-type-sandwich. Just in case you're interested...

16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
17 And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven.
18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
20 Then he sternly ordered the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.

Sixth Station—Jesus Is Scourged and Crowned with Thorns
Mark 15:16-20
Then the soldiers led him into the courtyard of the palace (that is, the governor’s headquarters); and they called together the whole cohort. And they clothed him in a purple cloak; and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they put it on him. And they began saluting him, ‘Hail, King of the Jews!’ They struck his head with a reed, spat upon him, and knelt down in homage to him. After mocking him, they stripped him of the purple cloak and put his own clothes on him.
Then they led him out to crucify him.

Not real pleased with myself, although I love this shot. I was jonesing to get another stranger shot or two, so I carried my camera with me to the grocery store. Didn't have much opportunity there, but I did get this kid on his bike on our way out. Out of my three photographs, this one is the best since there is nothing covering my subject's face, and the entire ribbon is in the picture. Another thing that contributes to this photograph being the best is the really cool motion blur effect it has. This was caused by setting my shutter speed to 1/20, then compensating with an ISO of 1600. Then my camera set the aperture to 5.6, automatically.
