Job 1:20-22

King James Version

20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. 22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Whenever I see a sunset like this, I expect to hear a big voice coming from the sky to give me a really important message. I never get them unless the message is to photograph the moment.

Glory in the Highest (Luke 2:8-20)

8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14 “Glory to God in the highest,

And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

15 So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. 17 Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. 18 And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

Some of you will remember me posting up a pic the other day asking for votes for a photo competition.

Well those votes have paid off well, I'm in the final, now it gets narrowed down to the top 20. then the top 6.

I don't even care if I win, as nice as £10,000 would be, to be in the final and having many people support me is good enough.

So thanks to everyone who voted, and everyone who helps me.

I am very happy with this.

A good friend of mine (thanks Richie Rich!!) found a complete but long dead dragonfly while ripping out a Vodafone shop in Salisbury last week and knowing my interest in macro photography kept it for me......this is the first chance I've had to finally have a play......so this is a tiny part of a wing..... I placed the dragonfly on a sheet of green tissue paper...which in turn was placed on top of the Makita LED torch, Olloclip macro @ 21x, tripod, remote, zoomed in on iPhone by 20%, then cropped (30%), healed, and subsequently battered......all in Snapseed on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil.

When you look closely at the image (esp. middle right) it's possible to see claw like protuberances, these are situated near the wing tip. I have no idea what purpose they serve (but my guess would be structural reinforcement?) but they are included in this article below (see small B&W photo marked (g)) :-

A Woodland Skipper Butterfly on a Shasta Daisy. One of the first butterfly shots in the open space. I was looking for wildflowers and ended up by starting a five year chasing of butterflies. The skippers gave me a false sense of "ability:" they fly short distances and the will feed on a flower for a minute or two, more than enough time to get a few good images. From the S3, I moved to the PowerShot SX10, then 20, then 40, and ended with the 50. But whether butterfly or bird, they're all hand held.

What a great morning we all had today, firstly a great turnout (20+) then a lovely breakfast with awesome company. Was great to see and meet everyone today and look forward to many more to come.

A big thanks to John Armytage for his organisation and leadership skills.

The Euston bound sleeper is assembled at platform 19 of Edinburgh Waverley. The 73 has come from Aberdeen and the 67 Inverness.

90049 had moved off the stabling point on the far side of the station to here, platform 20. Then 739xx arrived on 1B16 at around 00:36 from Aberdeen. The loco was released presumably off to Craigentinny and 90049 moved onto the (opposite) Glasgow end of the train. We then moved to photograph the other arrived sleeper on 11 hauled by Biffa. 73971 then arrived from Fort William on 1B01 at 01:10, ran down platform

20 past the train with 90049 on and backed onto the train to connect and ran off towards EC. 67004 then arrived from Inverness on 1M16 and repeated 73971s move. The 14-16 coaches assembled I left for bed, not waiting for the 90s departure.

I'm enjoying the start of a 3 day weekend.

Hope you are all having fantastic ones!

More winter scenes ... hope you enjoy them and aren't too bored. It's all I've got to shoot right now lol. And to all of you commenting on how cold they look ... I guess I must be a winter child since I was born in January. I love going out in the snow - unless it's below 20 - then I'm with the rest of you and stay indoors with a good fire or something to keep me warm.

Hugs!

Operating flights on behalf of TUI Airways UK.

Operated by Olympus Airways in this basic Monarch Airlines hybrid livery.

First flown with the Airbus test registration D-AVZN, this aircraft was delivered to a lessor and leased to Monarch Airlines as G-OJEG in May-99. Monarch Airlines ceased operations in early Oct-17, the aircraft was returned to the lessor and stored at Shannon, Ireland.

It was leased to Olympus Airways as SX-ACP in Jun-18. It was wet-leased to Germania Jun/Jul-18, to Ernest Airlines Aug/Sep-18, to TUIfly Nordic for 3 weeks in Oct-18, and Wings of Lebanon for a couple of weeks in Oct/Nov-18.

It was wet-leased to VietJet Air in Jan/Feb-19. Then to TUI Airlines Netherlands in Apr-19 to cover for grounded B737 MAX 8's. It transferred to TUI Airways UK in May-19 for the rest of the summer season and returned to Olympus in Sep-19 when it was stored at Teruel, Spain.

The aircraft returned to service in May-20 and operated to Beijing, China on a 'preighter' flight (passenger aircraft operating as a freighter - 'preighter').

It was wet-leased to Safe Air (Djibuti) for three weeks in Jun/Jul-20. Then leased to Alexandria Airlines for 10 days between late Aug / early Sep-21. The aircraft was stored at Cairo, Egypt for almost seven weeks before being wet-leased to Air Libya.

It was returned to Olympus in Dec-17 and stored at Alexandria-Borg el Arab, Egypt. The aircraft was returned to the lessor and sold to Airwork - New Zealand as VP-COD in Feb-22. It appears to be still stored at Alexandria. I'm wondering if it's awaiting 'P2F' conversion. Stored, Updated 23-Jan-24.

It's about time to have another photo of this unique Philippine mammal - the tarsier.

Early this year (2006), I took a vacation back to the Philippines especially to the island of Bohol particularly to see this fascinating animal. It's one of the smallest prosimians - some of them can fit inside your palm.

This species of tarsier is most commonly found on Samar, Leyte, Bohol, and Mindanao in the Philippines. They are found in areas of tall grasses, bushes, bamboo shoots, and small trees in tropical rainforests. They are arboreal and nocturnal. They spend the day hiding in dense vegetation and sleeping in trees. At night they emerge to move about and hunt for prey.

What's interesting is ... this particular group of tarsiers that I photographed are what the natives call 'showbiz tarsiers' as they are the ones being shown to tourists. Their behaviour has been so screwed up ... they are now diurnal instead of nocturnal ... but for a purpose though: to educate people about these animals. They are not particularly endangered (although it is vulnerable and threatened because of habitat destruction); people actually say you can find them easily if you know where to look ... but because it is unique and this particular species only found in the Philippines, people need to be educated and its preservation is important because it is part of the Filipino heritage.

It was also proclaimed by presidential decree that Philippine Tarsier is a specially

protected faunal species of the Philippines and that tthe hunting, killing, wounding, taking away, possession of the Philippine Tarsier and the conduct of activities

destructive of its habitats are prohibited. However, the possession of the Philippine Tarsier for educational, scientific or conservation-centered research purposes maybe allowed upon certification by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources secretary.

Sorry for the long-winded description.

The roller coaster ride on explore

On late June 21, this photographed appeared at explore's front page several times. Then when the link for explore June 22 appeared at explore June 21 p. 1 (the next day explore 500 listing appears after 5 o'clock pm central time on the top right of the page), I clicked on the link and saw it at No. 18. When the June 22 explore page finally went live, this was at no. 12 for that day. It never made it to the first page. It stayed on p. 2 for awhile, fluctuating from any place from 12-20. Then it just disappeared from the list ... and later on during the day, reappeared at no. 300 plus then disappeared again. A few days later (June 25), it magically reappeared on p. 1 for June 22 as no. 3 and stayed there fluctuating from no. 1 to 5. And now, it's gone again. Meanwhile, it appeared at Flickr's blog where most readers saw it. Over the days, it would appear on p. 1 or 2 or be gone totally from explore especially everytime I add it to a new pool. It's bizarre.

Thanks to everyone for your comments and your faves. It finally made it to 1,000 faves pool in October 2007!

Oh dear! This one has a very long and confusing history. First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWBM, this aircraft was delivered to ILFC International Lease Finance Corporation and leased to Air 2000 as G-OOAS in Oct-01.

It was leased to Skyservice Airlines (Canada) as C-GTDG in Dec-02. It returned to Air 2000 in Apr-03, still as C-GTDG and sub-leased from Skyservice for the summer season (a bit like the Sunwing aircraft do with TUI today (May-19)). It was returned to Air 2000 as G-OOAS in Nov-03.

Air 2000 was renamed First Choice Airlines in Feb-04. Now it gets a bit confusing... The aircraft was leased to Skyservice Canada again, as C-GTDG, in Nov-04. It was wet-leased back to First Choice in Apr-05 for summer 2005 before returning to Skyservice in Nov-05 for the winter.

It came back to First Choice in Apr-06 for summer 2006, operated by Skyservice, and stayed with First Choice for the 2006/07 winter and the 2007 summer seasons until it returned to Skyservice in Nov-07.

It was returned to First Choice in Apr-08, now registered G-OOPP. First choice was merged into Thomson Airways in Nov-08 and the aircraft was again leased to Skyservice as C-GTDG a week later. It was wet-leased back to Thomson Airways for the 2009 summer and returned to Canada for the 2009/10 winter.

It was due to return to Thomson Airways at the end of Mar-10 but got stuck in Keflavik, Iceland when the volcano with the unpronounceable name erupted. It was there for 3 weeks before it managed to get back to the UK in Apr-10 and was re-registered G-OOPP. The aircraft was retired by Thomson Airways in Dec-11 and was stored at Manchester UK.

It was returned to the lessor in Mar-12 and leased to Monarch Airlines as G-OZBW a week later. It stayed with Monarch until they ceased operations in Oct-17.

It was returned to the lessor and was initially stored at Shannon, Ireland and moved to Luton, UK in Dec-17 for further storage. It was due to the be leased to Small Planet Airlines Germany as D-ASPJ in Mar-18 but that didn't happen and it was leased to Avion Express as LY-VEB later that month.

It was wet-leased to Condor Flugdienst for 2 months until the end of May-18, and then to SunExpress Airlines (Turkey) for the summer season from Apr/Nov-18. From Nov-18 through to early Apr-19 it variously operated services for Condor Flugdienst, Transavia France, Royal Air Maroc and Condor again.

It was leased to Thomas Cook Airlines UK at the end of Apr-19 and was expected to return to Avion Express in early Nov-19. However, Thomas Cook Airlines UK ceased operations on 23-Sep-19 when the Thomas Cook Group ceased trading. The aircraft was returned to Avion Express and immediately wet-leased to Titan Airways (UK) for two weeks to assist in the repatriation of stranded Thomas Cook UK passengers.

It was wet-leased to Tailwind Airlines (Turkey) for three weeks in Oct/Nov-19 before ferrying to Amman, Jordan for six week heavy maintenance. The aircraft was stored at Chateauroux, France in mid Dec-20 and was wet-leased to LOT Polish Airlines at the beginning of Feb-20.

Then the COVID-19 Pandemic happened and LOT returned the aircraft to Avion Express. It operated a few more charters before being stored at Vilnius, Lithuania in Jul-20. It was ferried to Ciudad Real, Spain in Feb-21 for further storage. It was returned to Deucalion Aviation as OE-ITF in Apr-21 and was thought to be permanently retired.

However, the aircraft operated a 15 minute test flight at Ciudad Real on 29-Sep-21 and returned to storage. It was re-registered LY-VEB again in Apr-23 and was ferried to Varna, Bulgaria at the end of May-23.

There was a mention of it being leased to Electra Airways but that didn't happen and as far as I'm aware it hasn't flown since. It's had a hard life and is quite possibly permanently retired. Updated 16-Apr-24.

Me. I'm "cleaning up," - scanning old pictures. I was 20 then.

Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal international airport...Bangladesh.First flight May 2001.Photo taken by Mr Andreas Fotopoulos. On Monday 12 March 2018 US-Bangla Airlines flight 211, a DHC-8-402, departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, Bangladesh at 06:51 UTC on a scheduled flight to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Prior to departure, while in radio contact with Dhaka Ground Control and the airline's Operations department, the captain shows signs that he was agitated and experiencing high levels of stress. As the aircraft was in a climb phase, the captain overheard a communication between Operations and another US-Bangla aircraft regarding the fuel onboard but the captain without verifying whether the message was meant for him or not, engaged in some unnecessary conversation with the Operations staff. The Captain's vocal pitch and language used again indicated that he was very much emotionally disturbed and experiencing high level of stress.

The aircraft established its first contact with Kathmandu Control at 07:52 UTC. At 08:07 the First Officer contacted Kathmandu Control and requested descent clearance. Kathmandu Control cleared the flight to descend to FL160 with an estimated approach time of 08:26 which was acknowledged by the First Officer. At 08:10 the flight was handed over to Kathmandu Approach. At 08:11, Kathmandu Approach instructed the aircraft to descend to 13500 feet and hold over GURAS. The crew inserted the HOLD in the Flight Management System.

At 08:13 Kathmandu Approach further instructed the aircraft to reduce its speed and descend to 12500 feet. Three minutes later a further descent clearance was given to 11500 feet, and the flight was cleared for a VOR approach to runway 02 maintaining minimum approach speed. Both crew members forgot to cancel the hold on the FMS as they were engaged in some unnecessary conversation.

Upon reaching GURAS, the aircraft turned left to enter the holding pattern over GURAS, which was noticed by both crew members and immediately the captain made a correction. At the same time they were alerted by Approach Control. The captain immediately selected a heading of 027° which was just 5° of interception angle to intercept the desired radial of 202° inbound to KTM. The spot wind recorded was westerly at 28kt. The aircraft continued approach on heading mode and crossed radial 202° at 7 DME of KTM VOR. The aircraft then continued on the same heading of 027° and deviated to the right of the final approach course.

Having deviated to the right of the final approach path, the aircraft reached about 2-3 NM North east of the KTM VOR and continued to fly further northeast. At 08:27, Kathmandu Tower (TWR) alerted the crew that the landing clearance was given for runway 02 but the aircraft was proceeding towards runway 20. At 08:29, Tower Controller asked the crew of their intention to which the captain replied that they would be landing on runway 02. The aircraft then made an orbit to the right. The Controller instructed the aircraft to join downwind for runway 02 and report when sighting another Buddha Air aircraft which was already on final for runway 02. The aircraft instead of joining downwind leg for runway 02, continued on the orbit to the right on a westerly heading towards Northwest of runway 20. The controller instructed the aircraft to remain clear of runway 20 and continue to hold at the present position as the Buddha Air aircraft was landing on runway 02 (from the opposite side) at that time. After the landing of the Buddha Air aircraft, the Tower Controller, at 08:32 UTC gave a choice to BS211 to land either on runway 20 or 02 but the aircraft again made an orbit to the right, this time northwest of runway 20.

While continuing with the turn through a southeastern direction, the captain reported that he had the runway in sight and requested tower for clearance to land. The Tower Controller cleared the aircraft to land but when the aircraft was still turning for the runway it approached very close to the threshold of runway 20 on a westerly heading and not aligned with the runway. At 08:33:27 UTC, spotting the aircraft maneuvering at very close proximity to the ground and not aligned with the runway, the Tower Controller hurriedly cancelled the landing clearance of the aircraft by saying, "Takeoff clearance cancelled".

Within the next 15-20 seconds, the aircraft pulled up in westerly direction and with very high bank angle turned left and flew over the western area of the domestic apron, continued on a southeasterly heading past the ATC Tower and further continued at a very low height, flew over the domestic southern apron area and finally attempted to align with the runway 20 to land.

During this process, while the aircraft was turning inwards and momentarily headed towards the control tower, the tower controllers ducked down out of fear that the aircraft might hit the tower building. Missing the control tower, when the aircraft further turned towards the taxi track aiming for the runway through a right reversal turn, the tower controller made a transmission by saying, "BS 211, I say again...". At 08:34 UTC the aircraft touched down 1700 meters down the threshold with a bank angle of about 15 degrees and an angle of about 25 degrees with the runway axis (approximately heading Southeast) and to the left of the center line of runway 20, then veered southeast out of the runway through the inner perimeter fence along the rough down slope and finally stopped about 442 meters southeast from the first touchdown point on the runway. All four crew members (2 cockpit crew and 2 cabin crew) and 45 out of the 67 passengers onboard the aircraft were killed in the accident. Two more passengers succumbed to injury later in hospital during course of treatment. The aircraft caught fire after 6 seconds of touchdown which engulfed major portions of the aircraft.

An investigation into the captain's behaviour showed that he had history of depression while serving in the Bangladesh Air Force in 1993 and was removed from active duty after evaluation by a psychiatrist. He was re-evaluated by a psychiatrist in January 2002 and was declared to be fit for flying. Examinations in successive annual medical checks were not focused on his previous

medical condition of depression, possibly because this was not declared in the self-declaration form for annual medicals.

During the flight the captain was irritable, tensed, moody, and aggressive at various times. He was smoking during the flight, contrary to company regulations. He also used foul language and abusive words in conversation with the junior female first officer. He was engaged in unnecessary conversation during the approach, at a time when sterile cockpit rules were in force.

The captain seemed very unsecure about his future as he had submitted resignation from this company, though only verbally. He said he did not have any job and did not know what he was going to do for living. From 71 passengers/crew 51 people were killed.Aircraft was written off.

"If earth is 'a colony of Heaven' (Philippians 3:20) then Barkley deserves to be happy--now!"

--Abby

One evening, Abby (left) and Luna (right) were sitting on the couch, each reading: Abby was leafing through the Bible; Luna was absorbed by a story entitled "Young Romance," complete with soap opera-style illustrations.

Suddenly, a familiar presence interrupted them: Barkley, the family dog, wanting to play, leapt up, leaned over the back of the couch, and dropped his red ball onto the pillow between the two girls.

Abby: "You should take Barkley outside and play with him, Luna. He's bored."

Luna [in a curt, annoyed tone]: "I should? I'm reading. You play with him!"

Abby: "I would but the way I'm dressed, I'm not presentable to go outside the way you are. Don't be mean and just ignore him."

Luna: "I want to finish my book."

Abby: "Barkley is more important than a Romance book. Think of everything he does to make us happy. Don't be selfish."

Luna: "I'm not being selfish. I just want to be content and relaxed and not get up--not now. That's heaven to me."

Abby: "I just read something in the Bible that says, "we are citizens of Heaven"*--I think that includes Barkley, too. I don't care what anyone says about animals, I know Barkley has a soul that's more pure than a lot of people's. We should do what we can to make him happy. If you don't want to, I will."

[Abby starts to get up]

Luna: "No, Abby, you're right. He doesn't even think about trying to make us happy--he just does. And I'm sure we must be a nuisance to him sometimes. [Turns to Barkley]

Come on, Barkley. Let's go out and play!"

Nonpareils are one of my Favorite candies.

I usually have some around the house.

These I stacked up for the Round 50 Hunt Item 20.

Then I noticed this would fit in the 52 in2014 group as Chocolate Item 42.

And also in the 114 Pictures in 2014 as #69 White on White.

Triple play for this photo.

Illegal Entry & Gaslighting

What you hear in the Audio, is a Perpetrator or Perpetrators, entering and going through our Motorhome, while Koda and I were on our hike, on 8-15-21. The clip is 11 min, 22 sec long; cut from, over an hour, someone was in our Motorhome. We were gone a little over 1 hr 45 min, they entered about 22 minutes after we left; as an airplane circles. You may want to put on a good pair of headphones, because there was interference with the audio. It doesn’t matter how many times you change your locks; these Perpetrators will be able to get in.

First, you will hear an airplane circle. Then you hear an ATV pull up. Someone enters our motorhome, then starts going through drawers and cabinets. A motorcycle pulls up, revs engine; trying to cover up a loud slamming, and the noise from opening and closing cabinets. Then another ATV shows up, turns off engine, more drawers opening and closing. Again, a motorcycle shows up, revs engine, then turns engine off, light footsteps, a couple more cabinets opening and closing, then the door closes.

The previous collage I posted “Domestic Terrorism In America”, I mentioned; there are pictures of my neighbors leaving, as Koda and I do, for our hike. The creepy guy in the Gray Dodge, that watched me change a light fixture prior, and watches Koda on pee breaks. He creeps from his camp, leaving, making sure he was seen. He’s still camped across the road from us. The perps camped behind us, set in their ATV; watching and waiting for us to leave. These same acts have been repeated over and over again, for over 12 years. They make sure you see them leaving, so they, or others, can show up and illegally enter your residence. These same acts were carried out, while I was living and working in Yosemite National Park. This is another psychological aspect of Domestic Terrorism. It also shows Planed, Conspired Acts, by Multiple People. There was an Airplane, Neighbors, ATVs and Motorcycles, someone inside our Motorhome. I know Mr FBI Guy, it’s all just a coincidence. I’m just guessing he’s thinking that, because he hung up on me when I try to inform him of Domestic Terrorism, on 8-2-21.

As Koda and I were on our hike; we were chased down by many of the people you see in the previous collage “Domestic Terrorism In America”. Koda was being hit with Electronic Stimuli; when we stopped and chatted with the perps fishing. We also, had a plane show up, followed by motorcycle drivers standing. But, none of this seems to be Terrorizing to our Famed FBI. Perpetrators can enter your home, go through your things, move things around (Gaslighting), and take a few petty items. You can change your locks a dozen times; they will get in. Then, some perp will be lurking by the Key machine, at your local Walmart. But, none of this seems to be Terrorizing to our Famed FBI.

Once we arrived back at our camp and settled in; motorcycles buzzed by, drivers standing. Making sure they were seen. This was just an act, to rub it in my face. The neighbors start coming back.

In my last post, I said I may cover Street Theater at a local laundromat. The top picture; is of a Bolete edulis, mushroom. My glasses are for scale and often used in identification. They are edible and very good. My Grandfather introduced me to mushroom foraging, when I was a young boy. I passed it on to my daughter, and so on. Anyway, we were on a previous hike, and I came across these and other non-edible mushrooms. I sent a text, with a picture of the Bolete mushroom, to my daughter. A few days later; we were in town doing laundry, at a laundromat. Not only were we mobbed, harassed, wash tampered with; one of the Bottom-Feeders, comes in and pulls some Street Theater. He walks over to where I was folding my clothes. He was talking with the owner of the laundromat, and brought up Mushrooms. He kept repeating the word mushroom and some of the text, I shared with my daughter. It was more than redundant; it was intentional. Then, he starts talking about a White 89 Buick. He asked the owner if he knew of one, he really wanted one, bla, bal, bla. When we left the laundromat, we were followed, by what looked like a White 89, Buick. I slowed down to 20, then 15 miles an hour. It still followed us all the way to Walmart. I have pictures, video and audio; proving this, and many, many more. These perpetrators will also reenact, things or conversations you have had, in the privacy of your home. I know Mr FBI Guy, who hung up on me; it’s just a coincidence. There is nothing Terrorizing about this. If I had informed my Commanders of something like this, while I was in reconnaissance, they would have been all over this.

Local Law Enforcement downplays these acts of Domestic Terrorism, or just plain dismisses it; our FBI Agency, refers it back to Local Law Enforcement. Meanwhile, these perpetrators of Domestic Terrorism, Gloat and Brandish American Flags.

How many more America lives need to be Destroyed, lost; because of Corporate Greed, Dominance? How many more American lives need to be Destroyed, lost; because of Government and Law Enforcement Corruption? Mr FBI Agent; what is your definition of Domestic Terrorism? Here is Wikipedia’s: a form of Terrorism in which victims “within a country are targeted by perpetrators with the same citizenship” as the victims. Seriously, what is it you guys don’t get, or are you, too, complicit? How long are you going to pretend, this isn't happening?

We ask the Taliban; to respect Basic Human rights, but our own Government can’t do the same, here in the United States of America.

If you know of someone who is Targeted, please don’t dismiss them. Gang Stalking/Workplace Mobbing are just Guises for Domestic Terrorism; so victims can be easily dismissed and discredited. I give you facts; based on over 12 years of evidence. Direct Energy Weapons are being used on US Citizens, also known as the “Havana Syndrome”. Please look up their definitions and educate yourself. As you can read, see and hear; our FBI, once again, is dropping the ball. I finish drafting this; we were buzzed by ATVs, flashing lights; it’s 2:46 in the afternoon. Then again, that was just a coincidence….

Now I wait for my dog, to be again Tortured, baited and retaliation; as Perpetrators drive and ride by; gloating, brandishing the American Flags.

Well I think it's going to feel a lot more like summer this week and importantly a chance to try out my latest camera which is the same as the one I broke. I bought a more expensive version to replace it but I so missed my old one I had to go back on eBay to buy another one. It's got a bigger fault but on approval and the seller has told me I don't need to send it back he will just give me a refund. I feel a bit guilty as it might not be quite right but it is not broken so I will test it properly and then perhaps suggest keeping it for a partial refund especially as a Sony Case etc was included. It takes great pictures but should I remove the battery it demands that one sets up the camera again with date, time, country etc so I'm a bit afraid to mess with the menus..Might I add it's not this one it's, it's replacement and takes a good picture too, the only thing that bothers me is little glitches can be the forerunner to more unreliability. If we settle for about £20 then I feel I've still got a bargain as I'm sure I will get my moneysworth.

After a 100 degree day of shooting the 20 then fresh NS heritage units, the good times continued into the night. Its hard to believe its already been 10 years.

PAN!C's new (and hopefully final) line-up. With the split of Tokyo Underground, I needed a new girl rock band. Cyndi was the lead singer in the original PAN!C, but I decided to go for a more mature band and added Simone and Renata. If 40 is the new 20, then 30 must be the new teens!

Ruby's attachment to me seems to have reached a whole new level in the past couple of days. Typically, she has let our petting sessions last up to 15 minutes or so. Even the most intense ones rarely go beyond 20. Then she flaps her ears, maybe does a slow stretch, and hops away.

But the other night she lay on the couch next to me for about THREE HOURS while I pet her constantly as I watched TV. I even stayed up an hour past my bedtime just to keep the affection flowing. Last night was similar, though it only about two hours and I went to bed on time. I don't know what's gotten into her, but I think I like it. She seems perfectly normal otherwise, so I'm sure it's not a sign of anything troubling.

Rd. 3 of my "Time Series Panography" project. The subject this time was Adams Morgan at the intersection of 18th, Columbia, and Calvert. I took images at sunset and midnight on 2/19 and sunrise and noon on 2/20 then compiled them into one 24 hr panography. Idea is that I'll take these same images on a annual basis to track how the neighborhood is changing. Adams Morgan probably isn't the best subject for the longer timeline aspect, as it is pretty well developed, but areas like the Ballpark, SW Waterfront, and NoMa, which are seeing a great amount of new development should work pretty well.

This should let it be viewed large, mea culpa: View On Black

Please read all of this. Its so important to me.

It feels like I've been gone for weeks rather than a few short days.

This is for Anut Joan, my Nana. Who I love so very much. I don't have words to explain it anyone how much I love her. How important and beacutiful she is to me.

I've got a story for you.

Friday night, I left with my Mimi and Poppy and Matthew for their house, back in College Point. I don't mind car rides, and it was kinda short, but it was very dark out for 9 o'clock at night.

The next moring, we got all packed up, I took a shower and painted my nails. We waited a few hours for my Uncle Thomas, Aunt Mel, and son Jacob to arive. We piled into two cars and began the very, very, 7 and a half hour dive to Massachuttes. It normaly would not have taken this long, but we weren't taking the ferry over to Connectict. My Mimi, just had sugery on her hip about a month ago, and she can't sit for too long. During this time, I tried to play and enterain my two year old baby cousin. But I learned that he gets VERY car sick. He threw up three times on the trip.

It was so terrible.

If I see or smell barf, I will throw up myself, and it was really hard to not to so after Jacob did. He didn't cry, but just wanted mommy to clean him up, which she did.

We left Long Island around....1 in the afternoon and got in the hotel around 8:10.

That night, everyone was frantic. Matthew slept with Mimi and Poppy in the hotel. After we had dinner, Uncle Thomas drove me and Matthew to my Aunt Jeane's house in the jet black dark night.

I slept with my cousins that night because I knew they'd need me. Shauna, Sarah, Lauren, Sam and Noah. I can't tell any of who how much I love them all so much. No matter when we all get mad at each other, I still love them so dang much. But sure enough, Lauren, the cutest 8 year old I know, woke me in the night crying.

She wanted to call her mommy, my Aunt Sherri. Sherri was sleeping at my Aunt Joan's house, not with us. I carried Lauren down stairs to my very wonderful, loving Aunt Susan and she cried for a bit, but she was all right.

The next day, Saturday, I woke up to Sam's voice, who had crawed on the floor next me. He was talking with Sarah. He's going to be quite the ladies man when he gets older [:

I wore my blue dress that day to go see Nana.

To be honest, I was afarid that I was going to be afarid of her, because the cancer took away all her hair. But I wasn't. She's the most loving, amazing, becautiful I've ever come to know. And I'm so lucky that she's MY Nana, and that she loves ME.

Saturday was a day boy. I took a zillion pictures, including this one for her. I'll post the good ones maybe tomorrow.

That day, was just filled with love. And even though I cried, it was with love. The day was just so heart warming, and loving, it was incredible. So incredible.

I met Broody. My Auntie Laura's son. He looks a lot like her. I met her husband, Wane. Someone I wouldn't expect her to marry. I met Donna, the new wife. Shauna and Sarah and Sam had told me that she was...Not too kind. I didn't talk to her, but she seemed nice, I suppose; Very polite and quiet.

I was really happy Saturday. Everyone was.

Sunday came around, and it was long just like Friday and Saturday. But long in a good way.

I was so angry that we had to leave. My mom's friends could no longer watch Homer and Roxy, so we just "had" to go back home. I wanted to call and ask my neighbors, but they wouldn't let me.

Me, Shaunna, Matthew, Sam, Noah, Sarah and Lauren when to my Uncle Jerry's, mom's house to go swimming. She was really sweet [: She let us all have cookies, and they were amazing. We played capture the flag one last time.

When my Uncle Paul drove us back to Nana's house, we talked and laughed about how we were all going to cook up Sam and eat him [:

When it was time to go, I didn't want to. I wanted to cry and shout like a small child and not leave. Nana was just so postive though. She told me that I'll see her at our anual party, Reifenfest, in New Jersey, in September. I really hope she makes it until then.

Even last year, she was in the car, for hours, driving down to New Jersey, when she was hurting, just to spend time with us all. She's so incredible.

I started crying in the car. 10 minutes turned into 20, then into 30 and 50. The tears just kept comming. I wanted to open the car door, and jump out, and run back to Nana.

My parents didn't notice too much, and I think Matthew shead a tear at one point, but I'm not sure.

We stoped at a gas station. I had finally stopped crying, but it started up again, because I was just so upset. I couldn't even see straight because my eyes were crying.

Buying a Gatorade didn't help. Even though I had stoped crying by the time we got home-around 11 o'clock at night- My heart still hurt.

Its been a long few days, and I'm still recovering.
