"Iphone 4 Mania"... So today the new Iphone droped, and as you would expect it was insanity at apple stores across the "You Ess Ay".. But perhaps you were one of the few smart ones who pre-ordered it online.. Keeping in with the hype i decided to make todays shot Iphone 4 related.. Many thanks goes to my buddy Dave as he was kind enough to participate in my 365 project along side his new Iphone 4 (he was one of the smart ones haha)..

Wildlife photography is not a forte of mine nor is patience.
A fresh bowl of water and some beautiful mixed seeds were not enough to draw this cheeky chap into my plane of focus.
I decided to go out on 'eclipse day' to see what it was like. Since Rhode Island wasn't in the zone of totality it wasn't that impressive with about 8% of the sun remaining visible.
Basically it looked like the world just suddenly became underexposed! The light was similar to a cloud covered day but felt a bit different because the flatness was perfectly uniform for a few brief minutes.
More than 30 min after peak coverage you'd never have even known anything special had happened as the sky was once again brilliant and beautifu, so I captured this one last train then headed home. Amtrak train 175, a Boston to Washington Regional cruises railroad west over Apponaug Cove at MP 174.5 on Amtrak's New Haven Line main with the standard ACS64 leading a string of veteran Amfleets.
