Saturday 6th September 2008
Note, 175116 was built by Alstom Limited (ordered from GEC Alsthom Limited but the company was renamed Alstom Limited on 23rd June 1998) at Washwood Heath in Birmingham circa August 2001 for Angel Train Contracts Limited, Angel Train Contracts Limited being renamed as Angel Trains Limited on 16th May 2000. It was named PETER V L JONES Community Rail Officer - Conwy Valley Line at Llandudno railway station on 5th May 2003 and was on lease to Arriva Trains Wales/Trenau Arriva Cymru Limited although carrying FirstGroup plc (the owner of its previous operator North Western Trains Company Limited) livery. The name was removed in July 2009
2 and 6 signals are carried on a steel tubular post which replaced signals carried on lattice posts which originally were tall enough to require a lower co-acting arm

meh, the focus is a bit off, but i was glad i was able to get some really good light, colors (left side), and flare! which isn't typical of my photos!

Saturday July 10th
We ended up mostly just hanging out at the beach all weekend. It was finally nice out for a change and not quite as hot as it would have been in Vancouver.
This bus was new to Lothian Buses as 175 in 2010.
Seen here at Straiton.
Part of the A703 was closed, due to roadworks.
The 15/X15 were diverted va Frogston Road, Burdiehouse, Straiton and back onto the A703 to return to the route at Bush science center.
This is an old photo from 2018. I usually try to post a current photo, but I was looking at an old flash card and I came across this one, A 52-year-old memory. It's the rock on my alma mater's campus that traditionally got painted in the middle of the night by one class or another. This time it was painted in broad daylight to commemorate our reunion.
