Morning all! Happy Sunday!
So snapped this one yesterday at lunch time, peeled a clementine (which should be available all year round in my opinion!) when I noticed this blob of juice on it. Thought it would make a nice macro so whipped out the tripod and snapped away.
This is at 1:1 and using natural daylight from the window. I think the shutter was about 1/30th.
It was a tiny little blob but i'm impressed with how well it came out!
The colours were flat which is annoying as I want to brighten up my stream a tad, oh well, another mono shot for today then...
Had a pretty busy day yesterday. Spent the afternoon making a model and doing a drawing. Which im kinda proud of actually despite my eyes and back now killing me! Went food shopping in the evening, went for fajitas again but some more spices this time plus sour cream, tomatos and more lettuce, they were even more delicious than last weeks, think i'm getting the hang of mexican food! :P
After dinner watched some inbetweeners and then did some more drawings. I scanned in my tracing paper one so I wasn't working off the original. I finished rendering it and such and noticed that the printer had scaled it down ever so slightly so it was no longer to scale 1:100 but more like 1:105. SO annoying.
Another working day tomorrow but a big evening, going to Deansgate on a bit of a bar/club crawl. Should be good! Might be tired on Monday though... Hey ho!

I wanted to share a quote today by C.S. Lewis from his book The Four Loves.
“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. It’s a strong quote but so true. I can become so selfish myself and in doing that I stifle life. I want to learn more and more to take the focus off myself and work towards loving others unconditionally even if it hurts.
Two things about me:
1. I’m not the best at letting people into my heart, I’m quite protective of my heart but am learning bit by bit to loosen my grip and trust others.
2. I’m a very loyal person…it’s sounds kind of boastful to say that but it’s true.
I have no idea what this is, but believe me its a lot better than what got taken earlier in the day. I had an idea which just failed terribly so I took this on the way back from the cinema. I stole crash's lighting idea with the car lights (and really didn’t make the most of them clearly) I had no ideas for the set up I just knew I wanted to try the lighting out. I can’t deny this was pretty scary just because it was pitch black and I could hear obviously birds or squirrels or whatever walking in the bushes, but man it makes you paranoid. But yea. I like the motion, maybe it looks like I’ve just been thrown out of a car or something? I dunno. Its lame. Lets move on shall we :p

Very unproductive day in the office today, but fairly chilled this evening at home.
My daughter tried this massive lolly that was liberated from her Auntie's house in the shape of an emoji but she didn't like it at all.... despite eating its eyeball like some rabid zombie.

On the eve of the world cup, I feel like a kid on X'mas eve. On the down side, I don't think the next month will be very productive on the shooting side, the work side, the sleep side, actually anything that's not football related will have to take a backseat. I love this time every four years. More tomorrow.
