East Coast Buses service 113 has now been extended Monday to Saturday from Western General down to West Granton to serve Edinburgh College and Scottish gas HQ.

25.03.2023 ||Turany|| 162 113-5 należąca do prywatnego przewoźnika RegioJet przejeżdża na biegu przez stację Turany. Na haku znajduje się pociąg RJ 1003 relacji Praha hlavní nádraží — Košice. Skład wyjeżdża na szlak w kierunku stacji węzłowej Kraľovany, gdzie odgałęzia się ślepa niezelektryfikowana jednotorowa linia do stacji Trstená przez Dolný Kubín. Niegdyś odcinek ten nie kończył się jednak kozłem oporowym. Do końca II Wojny Światowej prowadzono ruch dalej poza stację Trstená do stacji Nowy Targ przez Podczerwone. Zakończenie działań wojennych i nowy podział Europy, a w konsekwencji nowa sytuacja geopolityczna spowodowała jednak zamknięciu wielu granicznych linii kolejowych w Polsce. Tak stało się również z odcinkiem granicznym pomiędzy polską stacją Podczerwone i czechosłowacką Suchá Hora. Ruch wstrzymano w okolicy 1945 roku. W 1965 roku szlak został fizycznie rozebrany. Następnie w 1981 roku wstrzymano ruch do stacji Podczerwone. Cały odcinek finalnie zlikwidowano w 1991 i 1992 roku. Zachowała się jednak część obiektów dawnej infrastruktury kolejowej np. mostów. Dzięki temu wiele lat później pomiędzy obecną stacją Trstená a stacją Nowy Targ w śladzie dawnej linii kolejowej oddano użytku widokową cyklostradę. Podróżując nią na rowerze, możemy przejechać po starych mostach kolejowych, czy odpocząć przy dawnych budynkach dworców kolejowych.

Com ja vaig esmentar en la foto anterior, les úniques 113 que hi havien en circulació la tarda d'aquest passat dissabte, van ser dues, la 113.07 i aquesta de la imatge, la 113.09. Aquí la veiem estacionada a Les Planes, en un servei S2 a Pl. Catalunya.

I was planning on an HDR shot today. Except CS4 is all I have, so I'll work on it once I get home with CS5. Even CS5 isn't the best HDR software out there, but I'm not planning on spending any more money on Photomatix or others. So here's a shot from a few days ago taken from our hotel room. And... Happy Late Winter Solstice! :D
