Una llarga hora d'espera va fer falta per a poder fotografiar la primera de les unitats de la sèrie 113 aturada a Gràcia aquell dia que anava a fer un reportatge per a una revista. Ja desesperat i quasi sense bateria a la càmera, va arribar la 113.01, batejada com a Barcelona, realitzant la seva reglamentaria parada a Gràcia fent un servei S1. Agraïr des d'aquí al departament de Premsa de FGC per a totes les facilitats que em van donar.
Una larga espera hizo falta para fotografiar la primera de las unidades de la serie 113 estacionada en Gràcia ese día que iba a hacer un reportaje para una revista. Ya desesperado y casi sin bateria en la cámara, llego la 113.01, bautizada como Barcelona, realizando su reglamentaria parada en Gràcia haciendo un servicio S1. Agradecer desde aquí al departamento de Prensa de FGC por todas las facilidades que me dieron.
WDE2916 LV24VPD at St Johns Wood working route 113 towards Marble Arch.
Been quite ages since I last photographed this route and Wright electrics have since replaced the Evosetis, having gone to various Metroline garages. The 113s batch only just entered service this year which includes this one.

We had a fantastic day today cycling from Noordwijk on the coast to the amazing Keukenhof gardens in Lisse. Perfect spring weather and millions of brightly coloured tulips. Needless to say, I took quite a few pics today! :)

Im Jahr 2003 pendelte noch ein NoHAB-Triebwagen der CP Baureihe 100 (Baujahr 1948) zwischen dem Abzweigbahnhof Torres das Vargens und dem Grenzbahnhof Marvão-Beirã. Treibwagen 113 erreichte am 23.04.2003 als R 5512 nach Torres das Vargens den Haltepunkt Cunheira vor bedrohlicher Wolkenkulisse. Heute sind die Triebwagen aus dem planmäßigen Verkehr verschwunden und der Betrieb auf der einst internationalen Strecke ist auf portugiesischer Seite eingestellt. Zum damaligen Zeitpunkt gab es hier nicht nur grenzüberschreitenden Güterverkehr, sondern auch der Nachtzug "Lusitania" Lissabon - Madrid fuhr täglich über den Grenzübergang Marvão-Beirã / Valencia de Alcántara.
In the year 2003 a CP railcar class 100 (built by NoHAB in 1948) shuttled between Torres das Vargens and the border station Marvão-Beirã. At april 23th 2003 railcar 113 arrived as R 5512 to Torres das Vargens at Cunheira in front of threatening clouds. At this time there were still regular freight trains and nighttrain service "Lusitania" Lisbon - Madrid across the border Marvão-Beirã / Valencia de Alcántara between Portugal and Spain. Today there are no trains on this line in Portugal and the NoHAB railcars are out of regular use for years.

Initially this photo was supposed to be me, my legs, with Klara's help to take the photo. It didn't work, she complained about wrong focus on the wall instead of legs (haha!) so we swapped. Her legs are always bruised. She decided these are not bruises but a pattern and she enjoys looking at the new pattern every night :) Hmmm... maybe I should start documenting them?
