This picture was taken during a return visit to Southern climes in support of events during 2017. The Marshall bodied Leopard has been for some time now a member of the Renown fleet and resides in North Staffordshire. I've had the pleasure of driving CRU on occasion and found it to be a fine example of the type so regularly seen across the country during the 1960's. It's a great driving experience with consideration to the driver offered via a semi auto system with pedestal gear change and a reminder that the Leopard cannot be spun around on a sixpence due to the lack of power steering - ah yes, those were the days! Very well presented as can be seen here, Bournemouth CRU 103C is always an eye catcher whenever and wherever it appears.
The short journey was then made to Spath, where CRU 103C is seen opposite the old garage and headquarters. In past years vehicles would often be parked here at the end of the shift ready for the yard man to pull them forward for fuelling and cleaning.

February sun - a challenge yet a boon. With the snapperazzi off board, the Flickrite at the wheel let his Leopard take the limelight as they swung round the nearby roundabout.
