I've always wanted one of these but good solid ones are hard to come by and prices are rising alongside the various Coopers, pick ups, Elfs and Hornets. Our next door neighbour had one in the early '70s and used to take us up town in it, I'd sit in the back playing with the sliding windows.

Here you see the speakers, the Yamaha CA-600 discrete stereo amplifier/preamp, upgraded Webcor 12AB5 Push-Pull 10W/channel all tube amplifier. You might also see the two small headphone amps. Headphones are Sony MDR-CD1000 (modified) and a home built set of 120ohm orthodynamic (planar) headphones in CD750 cups.
The orthos use either the tube amp (with converter) or the Yamaha natural sound CA-600 headphone output.
Not pictured is the Stereo Beta22 headphone/speaker amplifier and the Aiwa 103C Turntable with AT-14SA cartridge

Kirkby Stephen Easter Classic Commercial Vehicle Rally and Running Day on Sunday 31 March 2013 was a great day with many varied preserved buses and coaches operating free shuttle services between Brough and Kirkby Stephen Railway Station. Stalls offering just about everything that might secure a sale lined the streets in both towns. The sunshine and warm temperatures were much appreciated especially as snow lined the lanes in the area.

- Has been a major venue for up and coming bands since, in an earlier incarnation as The Monarch. As the Monarch it had hosted regular gigs since the 1980's and in the 1990's became a centre for the Britpop revolution.
The Barfly brand started in 1996 originally at The Falcon pub, before moving to The Monarch in 2000 which was renamed The Barfly and used as the flagship venue for the brand, keeping with the tradition of regular live music gigs with both established and break through bands.
In May 2016, the Columbo Group purchased the Barfly from its previous owner, MAMA & Company, who closed in the venue in July 2016 for refurbishment, following the refurb it has reopened as The Camden Assembly

A brief chat with rota organiser Tim had indicated that his Leopard could be given a run out - but he sounded unsure sure that there'd be much interest in it.
He headed off with the Roadliner as scheduled, while for us the Atlantean beckoned.
When we met up again - at the time proposed - business was well n' truly brisk.

Wing Yip has four sites in the UK, all with an oriental look, but non more so than this one, based in Birmingham, Manchester, Croydon and Cricklewood, essentially supplying Chinese and Asian foods and utensils to the restraunt trade, but is also open to the genral public.

Thomas Hill Ltd 4wDH Works No 103C: 1960 Seen at Brownhills on the Chasewater Railway
Built by Sentinel as a vertical boilered chain drive steam loco, it was rebuilt as a diesel hydraulic loco by Thomas Hill, Rotherham. Although it looks like any other small diesel loco, the chassis, wheels and final transmission is the original. A straightforward rebuild. Boiler and steam engine out, Diesel engine and hydraulic transmission in. All the rest is sheet metal work.
