Ffestiniog Railway carriage 100 at Porthmadog Harbour in September 1992.
Constructed at the FR's Boston Lodge Works in 1965, carriage 100 consisted of a guards van, a central eight seater first class compartment and a ten seat first class observation saloon.
IT was given the number 100 in celebration of the Festiniog Railway Passenger Centenary (1865-196).
It was transferred to the Welsh Highland Railway in 2003 where it worked for three seasons after which it was taken out off service as a passenger vehicle and transferred to departmental service. Renumbered 1000, it was used as a permanent way mess van on the WHR for a further five years before its deteriorating bodywork precipitated its withdrawal. It was scrapped at Dinas Junction in 2010.

I met Nathalie in the streets of Nancy, near the cathedral;
I was going to buy macaroons when I met her.
She had not much time, because she had to go to an appointment in Luneville and was a little late.
Nathalie is a customer advisor, and although she agreed to be photographed, she regretted not wearing better.

Lying on the steps of Union Square's 14th Street face, Paul drew my eye because he struck me as surprisingly 'worn' in his youth. He was not at all opposed to my photographing him, and immediately went back to writing. There were other drawings in the book as well—a young talent. Turns out he's also French.

DAY 100!!!!!! View On Black
(I got a little rush of excitement when I put a one in the spot that used to have a zero in the title...) :)
I'm a dork.
jusss thought you all should know.
:)
So, I had a completely different idea for today but those all did not turn out, and then I got frustrated and angry at my lack of talent and ability. Plus, it being my day 100, I wanted it to be something special considering that I had the whole day to do it. AND, I still push it to the last minute. Story of my life.
Anyways, I just want to say thank you to all of you who take your time to look at my stuff and thankyou thankyou for all of your wonderful words. :) You guys' encouragement, advice, and comments play a huge part in the fact that I have made this far. And I just hope to make it to the end. :)

1/100 in my 100 strangers project
Walking around the busy streets of Antigua Guatemala with camara in hand ready to find the beauty in my own country. Julio came up to me , He was selling these beautiful hand carved wooden angels . I asked him if he coulld spare some time to talk to me and he accepted. He told me that he was originally from Aguas Calientes Guatemala , about 8 miles away from antigua where his family lived and these angels were what fed his family. Aside from obvious hardships this man had a great outlook on life and said that he is happy everyday because god gave us our lives and every breath is a gift and a reason to be happy and grateful .
