I'm 1/3 of the way through my 365 project. It's been interesting so far. I'm not looking forward to winter because I like to use natural light and outdoor settings. We'll see how the next couple hundred photos go...

Production note: I shot this against a black backdrop, but the light made it look gray, so I darkened it. Otherwise, not manipulated, composited or retouched.

1-3 Willow Road, Hampstead (1940) by Erno Goldfinger.
Number 2 (the middle house) was Erno Goldfinger's own house for many years. It's now owned by the National Trust, and they do tours for visitors on Saturday afternoons (and possibly other times). It's well worth a visit - the interior is done with great concern for materials and attention to detail. It's very successful, and much less austere and difficult than you might imagine. Likewise, you really need to see the outside of the house at close quarters to fully appreciate it - I particularly liked the wood and translucent glass front door and hall area.
There's also an interesting range of modern art acquired by Goldfinger on display in the house.

I saw this drive past me and pull into some houses so decided to follow it, then i saw it parked up quite a long pathway behind some flats, i probably walked slightly further up the path then i should have done to photograph it but glad i did. A very early one, the only things to tell these apart from the later and more numerous examples are the different tailgate/numberplate layout and slightly altered grille, they really did stay looking pretty much exactly the same beggining to end.

Poor man's diffuser. Cut the bottom out of a milk carton. Place over light source, good with hardware store LED'S, for a great diffuser.
I was messing around with my new 50mm 1.8 with some night shots and these happened. I'm definitely in love with this lens.

Assignment 1.3: Max Depth of Field
Title: Blossoming Boffin’s
Photo Details: Aperture f/13, 1/125 Shutter Speed, ISO 100, AV Mode
Comments: In this shot I wanted to ensure that the reflection in the water near the bottom of the photo was clear, but also that the trees in the distance were also clear. I set the camera to AV mode and with some trial and error found the best aperture setting to clearly capture the scene.
