So I thought now that I'm becoming more active on Flickr, I'd start posting some figs.
So L - R
Flash - This is my perfect Flash figure, I don't think anything could even be added.
(2018 torso and head, Bart Simpson arms, dual molded legs.)
Batman - Again, this is my perfect Batman, if a new dark blueish grey torso comes out I might switch it, but I most likely won't.
(2014 torso, LBM head, dual molded legs.)
Superman - Again, this is my perfect Superman, wouldn't change anything.
(2012 torso, head, and hair, and dual molded legs. The cape also has a custom print on it but you can't see it.)
Wonder Woman - Perfect Wonder Woman, would only change the arms if Lego made flesh/silver dual molded arms.
(2012 legs, torso, head, and hair, Dawn of Justice arms.)
Green Lantern - Only figure here who I could tweak. Just the basic Green Lantern with minor modifications.
(2015 waist, torso, head, and hair, 2016 ring attachment thingy with a stud.)
Let me know what you think of these!
P.S. Martian Manhunter and Aquaman were gonna be in this but I couldn't find Martian Manhunter and I have another separate post planned for Aquaman so be ready for that.

In a series of portraits of strangers I meet walking around making a short portrait session on the spot with what's available. Here Yuliia is shot with a 7'' Petzval mounted on a Graflex Speed Graphic loaded with Ilford HP5+ 4x5 sheet film shot at iso800 and then the negative is toned in selenium to pop with some extra contrast. Home developed in Kodak Xtol 1+1. The negative is digitized with my DSLR and have curves adjustments for tones and dust removal.

NYC, February 2009. I replaced this file with a slightly revised version in 2023.
The statue in the foreground of this shot is called "America" and is by Daniel Chester French and Adolph A. Weinman. It sits in front of the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House building at 1 Bowling Green in New York City. The glass building in the background is the MTA headquarters.
This is not entirely an original composition. In fact, I intentionally set out to capture a color version of this famous statue.

As usual with reflective tape and logos. Custom chromed parts for the compartment door handles and the grille. Really hope you like this new beast. I'm very proud on how the design turned out, especially of the cab.

GM started producing the Opel Corsa B (Chevrolet) sedan and wagon under the Buick marque in 2001. The Buick Sail came in sedan and wagon (SRV) body styles. It was restyled in 2005, when it was also rebranded from Buick to Chevrolet.
The Opel Combo van was locally made too by the SAIC subsidiary SAIC-Yizheng in Yizheng, Jiangsu. It was named Sabre (Saibao).

The Fokker Dr.1 (Dreidecker, ”triplane” in German), often known simply as the Fokker Triplane, was a World War 1 fighter aircraft built by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke. The Dr.1 saw widespread service in the spring of 1918. It became famous as the aircraft in which Manfred von Richthofen gained his last 19 victories, and in which he was killed on 21April 1918.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The Fokker Dr.1 is a must in any collection of WW1 aircraft models, so it has been on my to-doo list for a long time. I did hesitate building one because there are so many brilliant models out there, and I did look at all the models out there, but this is completely my own design. It follows the same design characteristics as with my other WW1 models, such as engine cowling, wings and landing-gear. There is one key design feature of the Fokker Dr.1 I didn`t manage to recreate, the engine cowling ”face” with the two ”eyes” are missing. I couldn`t find a way to do it, so until I find a way it will be without ”eyes”.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

New photo series entitled "glitch" inspired by the recent trend in interfering with the text make up of an image to create imperfections or glitches. What I do is edit the text of the image using the quote in which inspired the image. So to glitch this photo I used the quote above and copy/pasted the text already within the image.

Vought OS2U Kingfisher.
My latest addition to my collection of 1:40 Aircraft models : Vought OS2U Kingfisher.
About this creation:
When Jim Mcdonough was close to completing his Missouri, he suggested me to build an OS2U Kingfisher, since he was not completely satisfied with his own. At that time, I was working on my own top 10 favorite list of aircraft from WW2. But now I have finally collected the bricks so you can see the final result. The Kingfisher is not a fighter, and its performance is not particularly impressive, but to see it landing on meter high waves is quite spectacular, and certainly an unpleasant experience for the crew.
I started the design based on my F4U Corsair when I found that the engine sections looked quite similar to each other. But it was quickly rejected after a close study of cowling measures. Instead I found a suitable wheel plus a turbine part that fit almost perfectly.
This model also featured a number of challenges;
First, to mount the main pontoon in a sufficiently stable connection that was not too bulky.
Second, the design of the mainpontoon, which teased me so much that I had to reject my LDD design, and rebuild the rear of the pontoon on the table to obtain a sufficiently strong design.
The third and last major challenge was to get the correct dihedral angle. The wings are hinged at the correct angle and part of the wing structure protrudes into the aircraft fuselage and locks the wings securely so that they do not tilt up or down. This has also given the advantage that I could build the wings with a fine smooth surface and a nicely curved leading edge.
The color choice is not entirely in accordance with an original color scheme, but adapted so it still resembles the pictures you can see if you google images of the OS2U.
Praise and criticism is always welcome
History:
The Vought OS2U Kingfisher was an American catapult-launched observation floatplane. It was a compact mid-wing monoplane, with a large central float and small stabilizing floats. Performance was modest, because of its light engine. The OS2U could also operate on fixed, wheeled, taildragger landing gear.
The OS2U was the main shipboard observation aircraft used by the United States Navy during World War II, and 1,519 of the aircraft were built. It served on battleships and cruisers of the US Navy, with the United States Marine Corps in Marine Scouting Squadron THREE (VMS-3), with the United States Coast Guard at coastal air stations, at sea with the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy, and with the Soviet Navy. The Royal Australian Air Force also operated a few Kingfishers from shore bases.
The Naval Aircraft Factory OS2N was the designation of the OS2U-3 aircraft built by the Naval Aircraft Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The OS2U first flew on 1 March 1938.
