so, I've decided not to do a 365 :( sorry, it's just to big of a commitment right now, I have regents tests to study for and other things after school. Then in september, being my first year in high school, I'll have no time, so I'll just keep uploading like I always do. Maybe I'll do one in 2011 :D Thanks for all your support! :D

The Greylag Goose (also spelled Graylag in the United States), Anser anser, is a bird with a wide range in the Old World. It is the type species of the genus Anser.
It was in pre-Linnean times known as the Wild Goose ("Anser ferus"). This species is the ancestor of domesticated geese in Europe and North America. Flocks of feral birds derived from domesticated birds are widespread.

She felt a little in need of a wash and brush up!!
I returned to Bray’s Pit a couple of day’s ago, and the white duck was still there (it’s the only white one on the pond), and I took this sequence of shots as she very vigorously bathed herself. I clicked away and it wasn’t until I downloaded the photos that I really saw the funny positions she contorted herself into to make sure she was thoroughly clean all over!!
Happy New Year to all of us! Celebrating it at our new place and being very hopeful my one little dream comes true in 2014.
