When we arrived to the Rijksmuseum, there was a street band playing some amazing music, which filled the entire tunnel. Here is a sample of them: youtu.be/kiSIMRuqAjo
Here's a dramatic sunset on teh Zanskar peaks, higher than 6000mt; in Ladakh, India, a remote place located a 3600mt over the Sea Level. I definitely love to travel the world and I think I will never stop until I can.
I found this seagull perched on a post leading out to the rougher waters of the area surrounding Venice. There were boats by each home or building there because after all it is only one of two ways to navigate Venice. The other is by walking.

Located in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, Dark Hollow Falls is one of the most popular hikes in the park. Although the trail loop is less than 2 miles, the entirety of the hike and trail is set upon a very steep incline.
I was lucky to snag this image on the hike back up (and you better believe it was tough!). This particular vantage point was VERY crowded with other tourists; fortunately, I was able to wiggle my way to the front and this awesome shot was the result. Some late afternoon light left a brilliant glow on the upper falls that gave a nice contrast to the darker, more ominous shade from the foliage overhead. Not a bad way to end a tough hike!

HaPPy (Black) Friday ..actually let it be yellow green or white...HaPPy Friday ....)
A stormy monotone depiction of the highest mountains on the North American continent. Mt. Hunter on the left, King Denali on the right. As a peak freak viewing Denali was a priority and highlight of last summer's trip to Alaska. True nuff, all the other peaks bow to it's glory.
This was a rare view between the thick forests along the Petersville road. A tighter color version in comments.

Another beautiful morning at Many Glacier with the day's first light caressing The Garden Wall, Grinnell Point and Mt. Wilbur.
The winds were whistling this fine morning. Not often does one gets water droplets on their lens from a lake....but I did this dawn.
A few other sunrise shots from this favorite place in comments.
Enjoy a wonderful Wednesday!
I know many photographer will criticize it by saying "it is so fake". Well, maybe it is fake, because it never happened, if only in my mind. One great photographer said "with our photographs we show more ourselves in than others", and I think he is right. Here I show my dream, my imagination...
One of the Icons of the Southwest at late afternoon with best light conditions...and one of my all time favorites.
The Toadstool Hoodoo is a spectacular mushroom shaped rock standing majestically on a large boulder within Rimrocks, which can be accessed from the unmarked trailhead at US highway 89 between mile marker 19 and 20.

Each year I ask for many different things
But now I know what my heart wants you to bring
So please just fall in love with me this Christmas
There’s nothing else that I will need this Christmas
Won’t be wrapped under a tree
I want something that lasts forever
So kiss me on this cold December night...

Con questa foto auguro a tutti i miei cari Amici di trascorrere un sereno Natale ricco di gioia e che sotto l'albero ci siano pace e amore, non solo pacchi da aprire ;-))!
The California Nebula is an emission nebula located in the constellation Perseus. It is so named because it appears to resemble the outline of the US State of California on long exposure photographs

AMSTERDAM, Light Festival - all living things emit energy. Trees do this too. WISP of the French collective Pitaya, makes this energy which are usually invisible, visible. The energy transition is visible through bundles of light. The trees along the canals of Amsterdam are proud as enlightened guardians while the light wisps of a dynamic light ballet forms. The magical celebration of the fragile and dynamic allure of nature can be seen from the water, where a magnificent reflection in the water. To the country guarded WISP the border between water and land.
