A golden sunset illuminates a nature trail on a peaceful autumn evening in Michigan. This inviting stairway through the forest leads down to a beachfront destination.
I don't know if there is a word for an alley, when it's a canal. But if there is one, this would be one I think. Bruges is a beautiful medieval city in Belgium. It's worth a visit if you get the chance.

So this is the south side of the Dutch Island Terschelling. A co-incidence that it was low tide where neat small islands popped up. The atmosphere with no wind and high temperatures made it a great summer feel. The next day I biked up here with my family, all was covered with seawater. Thanks all for your comments and favs

The Salt Lake Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. At 253,015 square feet, it is the largest LDS temple by floor area.

The Huà Shān (Chinese 華山 / 华山) is one of the five holy mountains in Shaanxi province near the Huayin district of the People's Republic of China, about 75 mi east of Xi'an.

The "Slikken van Flakkee" are between Goedereede and Herkingen (behind Melissant). The west side area is bordered by the Grevelingenmeer. The total area covers approximately 1,500 hectares reclaimed land, and 1250 ha. water which is shallower than 2.5 meters. The shore length is approximately 20 km. The width of the area ranges between 500 and 2500 meters.

Letzten Sonntag waren wir im Botanischen Garten, von der Teichanlage hier ein Blick auf das große Tropenhaus.
Ich wünsche Euch eine angenehme Zeit mit kühleren Temperaturen und Regen den die Natur dringend braucht!
Last Sunday we were in the Botanical Garden, from the pond here a view of the large tropical house.

August means sunflower season and it's always great to spend some time amongst them feeling their warmth and wonder.
In der Vergangenheit habe ich es im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ziemlich bunt getrieben in meinem Stream; das soll sich im neuen Jahr ändern. Den Anfang möchte ich mit einem Motiv machen was Euch "in bunt" bestens bekannt sein dürfte :-))
In the past my stream was a place full of colors; that might change a bit this year. I will make a start with a motive which is likely to be well known "in color" :-))
