Ventisquero Negro ("black snowdrift" in Spanish) is a rather unusual glacier at the base of Tronador in Nahuel Huapi National Park. Its unusual dark brown colour comes from dirt and sediment picked up in the glacier's accumulation zone, which is fed by the RÃo Manso Glacier several hundred metres higher up the mountain. Brown icebergs calve from the glacier and then float in a small lake until eventually melting.

I spent two days in Heather Meadows enjoying fall colors in North Cascades. The first morning was amazing. Before the sun came up from behind the mountains the sky was so colorful. With the sun everything turned into golden yellow.

Le viaduc de Garabit est un viaduc ferroviaire qui permet de franchir les gorges de la Truyère. Il est situé dans le département du Cantal en région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Cet ouvrage métallique, long de 565 m, culmine à 122 m. Réalisé par Gustave Eiffel et sa société, il est construit entre janvier 1880 et septembre 1884. Il sera mis en service en 1888 par la Compagnie des chemins de fer du Midi et du Canal latéral à la Garonne concessionnaire de la ligne.
Pico da Bandeira (2,892 m / 9,488 ft) is the highest point in the region. Other peaks also worth mentioning are: Pico do Calçado ("Shoe Peak", 2,849 m / 9,347 ft), Pico do Cristal ("Crystal Peak", 2,770 m / 9,087 ft) and Morro da Cruz do Negro ("Blackman's Cross Mountain", 2,658 m / 8,720 ft).
The region is place for Brazil's second largest altitude, after Serra do Imeri, and the largest gap or prominence (997 m / 3,271 ft).
The Caparaó Mountains are mostly covered with Atlantic Forest, the preservation of which was guaranteed with the creation in May 1961 of the Caparaó National Park.

Lornano is located on south west hills of Castellina in Chianti and Monteriggioni (5km from Siena) The family-owned winery produces Chianti Classico wine since 1904. On the 180 hectares that make up the property are cultivated grapes, olives and cereals. The wine is produced exclusively from the vineyards of the company, vinified in a modern winery in stainless steel tanks and aged in old wine cellars. Lornano wine won numerous and continuous awards at an international level.
