I have taken many photos of the trees down this stretch of road and each time they come out a little different. The combination of stormy sky and the sun going down made for beautiful light and shadows.

The grain on the water is the frozen surface caused by the low temperatures of the nights, very dangerous waters indeed but very sublime scene.
Just at sunset a swan glided over to where I was taking photographs, paused for a minute and then quietly disappeared into the darkness on the right. LaSalle Park marina, Burlington, Ontario.

The Arena is a former gasometer in Connewitz next to the Panometer Leipzig and is now used for summer events. The building is a registered industrial monument of the city of Leipzig.

A female Broad-tailed Hummingbird hovers before dipping into a bee balm blossom. If you look closely you can see bits of pollen on her bill.

Pelluco se ubica 4 kms al sur de la ciudad de Puerto Montt. Es un tradicional balneario veraniego muy vistado por sus playas y suave oleaje, si bien el mar es frio la poca pendiente de la orilla de playa permite que el agua de mar este unos grados mas tibia que lo usual para esta parte de Chile. Desde Pelluco se puede ver numerosas islas y la gran bahia del puerto que mira al gran Seno de Reloncavi hito geografico considerado como el inicio de la Patagonia Occidental.

Pelluco is located 4 kms south of Puerto Montt city. It is a traditional summer resort well-known for its beaches and gentle waves, beside the cold sea the shore beach has small slope cause the sea water more warmer than the most in this part of Chile. From Pelluco it can see numerous islands and the harbor bay facing the great Seno de Reloncavi a geographic landmark set as the beginning of the Western Patagonia.

First I stopped in this beautiful park on the way to Lewis river falls. The current was very fast, and there was no reflection at all. I came here again early in the morning. The flow of the river was still strong, but when the sun lit the hill and the trees behind the bridge, the view was simply magical.
The Carnival Magic‘s onboard waterpark is backlit by the rising sun just off the coast of Freeport, Bahamas.
A break in the storm front, a little before sunset, yielded these interesting colors in the sky. An hour later it was pouring, again.
Cape Kiwanda is part of the Three Capes Scenic Route (along with Cape Meares and Cape Lookout). Kiwanda is the smallest of the three, but it is one of the best places to experience spectacular wave action. Pacific City is the home of the Pacific Dory Fleet. South of Cape Kiwanda is the dory boat launching area. North of Cape Kiwanda to Tierra Del Mar is a stretch of beach popular with picnickers. Kiwanda provides great hang gliding and kite flying opportunities.
Some would say the title describes me perfectly, but on this occasion its the natural dogleg in the river Soar, which has been given a lovely curve with the 9 shot panoramic stitch.
Last Sundays sunrise at Redhill marina was one of the most beautiful winter mornings I've been lucky to witness there, so fitting in the entire view seemed a great idea.
