This is a photo from Villa Borghese, Rome and the Temple of Asclepius built at the little lake there in the park. The temple building itself is late 18th century (built 1785-1792), but it was built as a home for some ancient sculptures. The statue of Asclepius himself is thought to have come from the Mausoleum of Augustus, and the other, smaller pieces are of Hellenistic date and style.
But there are a couple of things you can't see in this shot: 1) it was incredible hot, and even the evenings weren't all that nice. But they looked quite pretty. And 2) there was a big sign of the gate entering this area that said it was to close at 21, and I went in at a quarter past, hoping very much they wouldn't lock me in. Thankfully they didn't.

Santorini is a beautiful island in Greece, known for its stunning sunset. There are a lot of things to do in Santorini and enjoying the sunset is one of these.

South Stack Lighthouse in Anglesey, marking the hazards on the approach to Holyhead, North Wales.
Following strong winds the night before there was a heavy swell on the Irish Sea.
Over 130 metal sculptures created by artist Ricardo Breceda from 2007 to 2012 are scattered around Anza-Borrego state park. There are dinosaurs, serpents, birds of prey, giant insects and many other creatures all created of scrap metal. The artist lives nearby in Temecula, California.

This had been sitting on my bucket list, for a long while. I was thrilled to be able to capture this sunstar, behind Wizard Island. The weather was very unpredictable, with a clouds and snow forecast every day. My first luck was to be able to find a room at the Crater Lake Lodge, which had recently opened after winter closure. Being a light sleeper, I kept looking out the window, every time I woke up during the night, in the hope of seeing some clearing, to have some sun for my sunrise. I also had the bonus luck of capturing some moonlit night images, which I'll post at a later time.
This is a three 24mm horizontal image panorama.

The Revierpark Wischlingen is a green and recreational complex in the district Huckarde. It is located directly next to the Hallerey Nature Reserve and covers an area of 39 ha.
The park were created in the 1970s to offer recreation on the doorstep to the working population in the Ruhr area.
If there is a hell and if there are Elephants there, it would much likely look like that.

Mt. Robson (3,954 m = 12,972 ft), is also known as "Cloud Cap Mountain" and by climbers as the "Great White Fright."
With 2,975 m (9,760 ft) elevation gain from the valley floor below it is a difficult challenge for those brave enough to climb it.

The Allianz Arena is a football stadium located in Fröttmaning in the north of Munich. Max. seating is 75,000. Due to it's shape it earned the nicknames "Schlauchboot" (inflatable boat) and "Autoreifen" (tyre).
