Sonnenberg Gardens, also known as Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion State Historic Park, Canandaigua, New York, USA, at the North end of Canandaigua Lake, in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. The house and gardens are open to the public every day, May through October.
too early on the most beautiful of days. The sun had melted a hard frost, which was just about to freeze again - it was VERY cold, but so lovely I couldn't resist taking a picture of this lovely scene !
One texture of my own applied, plus a little help from PicMonkey. I so hope you like it.
Many thanks as always for your faves and comments ... this was one of the most beautiful of days for me. I hope you all have loads and loads of beautiful days of your own !

This moody photo is a reflection of the time we spent exploring the Campbell National Park a few while ago. It was wet and windy, and we hardly saw the sun. Still a beautiful area though...
Minnewanka = 'Water of the Spirits' (Nakoda).
What a place to be first thing in the morning. Since we were the only car in the parking lot, I expected to be alone. Then, I realized that a few people probably spent the night there in some cabins or on houseboats.
When I'm not admiring the mountains, you can find me on Twitter

Been shooting more and more with this lens. The moment I shoot this picture I was still skeptical but once uploaded I was amazed and surprised about the result. Marvelous bokeh bubbles and extraordinary light including those wicked lens flares. More shots from this lens can be found here:

Another Iceland Classic today. I did some research on this place before I went and there has been a church on this site at Buoir since 1703. This one is showing its age now and is in need of some TLC, but still makes for a dramatic picture against that backdrop!
Moltke Bridge is a bridge over the Spree River in Berlin, Germany. Completed in 1891, it connects Alt-Moabit near the main railway station on the north bank to Willy-Brandt-Strasse and the Chancellery on the south bank. The bridge is named after Field Marshal Helmuth von Moltke the Elder (1800–1891), chief of staff of the Prussian Army for thirty years
This was taken at a Loch near to my home just as the sun set. There were gentle waves in the water and I thought the long exposure would make for a more gentle break between the sand and the water than it has. That said, the LE did make a great job of the clouds.
