This was to be taken as a Colorado landscape last Autumn. Just a moment before the shutter was released, the two Canada Geese decided to fly. IMHO, the still shot which turned into an action shot added a certain touch of class to the photo.

Northern Pacific round-end observation car Rainier Club is at E&LS in Wells (Escanaba) for repainting. E&LS owner John Larkin has been a staunch supporter of the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Duluth for many years and his generosity continues today.

The long exposure for this shot turned the Carquinez Strait and the Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge to gold! This is another shot taken on that same cold and windy night last July when Eric Dugan and I braved gusting, cold winds to do some sunset and night photography together. This picture was taken from the Crockett side of the Carquinez Bridge. On the distant shore is Vallejo, California.
The Carquienz Bridge actually consists of two bridges. The older span is in the foreground with the red stream of taillights that are northward bound on Interstate 80 whereas the new, taller bridge is for southbound traffic. These bridges cross the Carquinez Strait located at the northern end of the San Francisco Bay.

Dropped out to Hill 60 on the way to work this morning .. lot of cloud hoped the sun might peek thru .. ahh well may'be next time.
Taken last week in London. This is part of the Prince Albert Memorial near the Royal Albert Hall. I'd love to have got it a few days later on a full moon evening, but it wouldn't have been visible much for the clouds by then.
(Sorry for the long absences .. I'm not sure when it's going to get better)

Spectacular Brisbane Sunrise - My partner thought that this looked like a tornado was about to touch down. This was the view from our verandah this morning and thought it was absolutely spectacular so had to share :)

This leaf was seen floating on water (or maybe a starry sky!) at the Los Angeles County Arboretum. The contrast between the background and the pale colored leaf together with the "touch of pink" attracted me.
Just a taster of another look and dress I altered the other day. And yet another mirror shot. Yes I am vain, self centred and self obsessed! but who could blame me its taken many years being someone I wasn't to now being who I really am.
Do you remember the first time you fully transitioned with wig, makeup, and that LBD. Can you recall how you felt when you first saw your reflection. did you get the urge to reach out and touch the reflection before you?
Have to say I was bit of a sea monster in those early days my make up wasn't good the wig was questionable and my dress sense made no sense. But still the first time I saw myself I was amazed and yep I did touch my reflection just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. well as time moved on ive got better at this game yet I still get that same feeling when I see myself.
Touch is something as guys we don't really do much and we don't really get touched much. when as girl it happens it makes me tingle all over its like being alive. odd how just holding hands or touching an arm can make you feel so alive. Or is it just me who is strange ?

Another close encounter with his majesty the King Eider (Somateria spectabilis). I still regret I didn't use my macro lens whilst being in the hide. Am I kidding? No... I am not. These birds were so close, you could actually touch them.
