I miss him so much that it hurts.
It’s only 1 month since daddy left us, but it feels like he has been gone for a year. I think about daddy every day, all the fun moments we had. I don’t know why daddy is gone, mom says it’s complicated and when daddy calls me we don’t talk about it. I can’t remember exactly where he is, but I know it’s 15.000 miles from here. I can’t wait to see him again and give him a big hug, but I have to wait for long time. When I’m crying mommy says that daddy will be home soon and everything is okay. But I don’t believe her. There are a lot of people who think that my dad can be evil sometimes, but that’s because he’s in pain. Mommy has told me a lot of times that daddy’s leg really hurts. I just think my daddy is cool. Because every time I fall and hurt my leg I start cry, but I have never seen daddy cry. Last time I saw daddy was in the airport, he gave me a hug and promised that he would come back. I’ve never cried that much before. Now I just hope that daddy will come home soon. The best thing about daddy is that he’s funny. He can always make me laugh and forget about the troubles. I hope I can go visit him soon… It’s hard to think that there’s 5 months left. Because I miss him so much that it hurts.

I miss Ireland...from the dark, mossy woods to the sparkling water and big, blue mountains, from the ancient historical places to the culture and the friendliness of the people, the fact that there was green grass in March, and-and........and EVEN the fact that you glob way too much mayo on your sandwiches! (LOL:)
Can not wait to travel there again someday, and I'm blessed that I have!

A co-worker of mine asked me to make her; her baby shower cake. This cake was a true inspiration from one of Andrea's sweetcakes cake! I tried to get the tiles as straight and as neat as hers’ but that was not possible. Thanks Andrea! The bottom tier is a marble cake with chocolate ganache and the top tier is almond cake with raspberry buttercream.

We have a few "Sign" issues around here. First off, every off ramp has duplicitous signs. The next problem is the misspelled signs.

I meant to take a photo here, but I didn't get anything in frame. Hmmm.
This was a test of taking a photo on the iPhone using ProCam, grabbing that DNG in the iPhone version of Lightroom, and doing all of the editing in Lightroom. Overall, I think it's a success.
Another of those situations where notices of a missing pet have been posted on every corner around the neighborhood. Those of us who have and love pets can easily imagine what an agonizing time it is when others have to put up posters like this. And we hope the day never comes when we're the ones who have to experience the searching, waiting and wondering that's involved.
