I went up to the lobby guard at Gateway 1, and asked him if there had been any payphones in the lobby. He told me, "You know where there's ONE working payphone? Go over in front of the Horne's Building, and there's one there." This is what I found instead: two empties on the edge of a construction site. (And was the tarp cut for phone use at one point, or only to take the phones away?)
cracked mirror, scraped sofa, missinf foot of sofa, no crate for mirror, chipped dinning table missing items: projector x2, cables, tripod, speakers, cuttlery.
Every Winter is the same thing... me missing summer, the sun, the ocean scent, the confortable clothes, collect seashells and forgeting my existence.
*This picture is from 2011, one trip to that beach I love so much. I would like to go there right now even though the weather isn't that warm.

The picture's not very good at conveying this, but damn-near-half my lower lip is torn to shit at this point. [And none of that damage was from flight anxiety; it was all done before I even got to Heathrow.]

This was one of those beautiful fall days, as brilliant as can be, bluer than blue sky, cold air but warm sun. Unfortunately, the scene is where the I-35W bridge used to be in Minneapolis over the Mississippi River. Most of it had been removed by this time.
The evident mark on EJE 665 is now a combination of rust and a rectangular cut-out in the safety stripe where the builders plate proudly was displayed.

I was missing my sweetie and decided to throw it out on a canvas. This is the result. At some point, I noticed that I was interconnecting all the pattern pieces and continued with the theme. Nothing stands alone; there are no solo dots, slashes, or spirals (the ones going off the side are assumed to be continued as normal).
There is no true right way to frame this. I didn't paint it with a definitive top or bottom. The edges aren't entirely finished as this was my first time using canvas board, but when popped into a frame, you can't even tell.

The Menin Gate Memorial to the MIssing is dedicated to the British and Commonwealth soldiers who were killed in the Ypres Saleint of the First World War and whose graves are unknown. It was unvieled in 1927. The Last Post has been performed here at 8pm every evening since 1928 (apart from during the Second World War)
