missing people relatives protest

Here you can see where the circa 1970s tenants just ripped the decorative shelf off the wall so they could apply the gorgeous mirrored tiles.

She almost looks like one of those peasants in Monthy Python's Flying Circus. The only thing missing here would be a knotted handkerchief on her head. And apart from that, I think she looks pretty sexy, ironically...

I think Emu is still missing Rod. Although from his quiff and little smile he is getting on with life.

Missing 2 front teeth :-)

The Missing Man formation serves to remind us of those who sacrificed their future for that of our nation, and is a tradition which dates back to World War II. The symbolic moment when a single aircraft breaks formation and soars skyward, leaving behind the others, albeit with a missing man in their ranks.

Missing name of the creator as the cakes were still being judged while I was taking pictures.

It seems that the little creature had her own ideas about sleeping in the barn .... she is off! He only meant for her to behave herself but now maybe she is gone for good. :(

The Missing Man

He's not missing at all

He right over there, sir

He's in a distant place

Right over there

reading the paper having his coffee

He worries about the war

He likes his coffee black

He keeps his head down when he reads

His ties are nice

And his suit is clean

He doesn't notice the goings on

He doesn't look out the window

His world is full of letters and numbers

It's too bad about the missing man

I need an original image to allow reconstruction of this trunk.

Can you help?

Other than a missing fender and headlamp, this old 1948 F1 Ford pickup is good to go or no?

Located in a Ford truck specific junk yard alonside NC103E in Surrey county, North Carolina.

Originally, this was Jeremiah Ambler & Sons, Ltd, Midland Mills, Bradford, Combers, spinners and weavers of all kinds of wool and hair. The company itself was established in 1783, but did not move here until nearly a hundred years later in 1871 when this place was built. Jeremiah himself is buried in nearby Undercliffe cemetery. Leeds University hold many of the early business records for here. More recently this place was British Mohair Supplies Limited, and it closed eleven years ago. Today, little remains.

I say little remains. This part of the mill is heroin central. Needles and foil are scattered on the floor everywhere, along with blankets and old coats.I normally ignore the remnants of drug taking, but we spent some time looking. It was a pretty sobering sight. It's not on T.V, or in a film. It was clear that this was the bottom rung of the ladder of life. There was no other step down, except to death. Luckily, there was no one at home today, but there has been recently. Midland Mills is earmarked for flats. At sometime in the last 5 years, the weaving sheds have gone.

Sooner or later, Midland Mills will be converted into upmarket apartments, and the last whispers of its industrial past silenced with laminate flooring and plasterboard. In the meantime it waits for the developers, trashed, empty and dangerous. I loved it.

Recently our 13-year old Siberian Husky passed away. He was a great dog and lived a long good doggie life. Pets are a special gift that God gives us to play with our kids, make us smile, love us and never complain. Miss you Kemo . Woof.

Missing history - here was the "Palast der Republik"

The Palace of the Republic (German: Palast der Republik) was a building in Berlin. It served primarily as the seat of the East German parliament, the Volkskammer, but it also housed two large auditoriums, art galleries, a theatre, restaurants and a bowling alley.

Despite various protests by people who felt the building was an integral part of Berlin's culture, in November, 2003, the German parliament decided to demolish the building and leave the area as parkland until funding for the reconstruction of the Berlin City Palace could be found. Demolition started on February 6, 2006, and was scheduled to last about fifteen months at a cost of twelve million euros. The demolition lasted longer than scheduled because of hazards to neighboring buildings. Dismantling of the structure was seriously delayed after more asbestos was discovered in various locations, and the estimated completion date was pushed back to the end of 2008.

Again you feel a chill – as though you are being watched. You look around. No one there.

You collect all of the contents and put them back into the box. You close it up and continue your walk along the shore.

Fifty paces out, you glance back over your shoulder to where you were sitting. The box is gone.

Subject : Missing Bollards Chesnut Grove, Tottenham N17

Please see the photo I've posted on Flickr. It shows the end of Chesnut Grove where a row of bollards normally prevents vehicles from accessing the pedestrian-and-bicycle middle section of Chesnut Road. As you can see, two bollards are missing. So an irresponsible driver could gain access to the pedestrian section.

Could you please arrange for replacement of the bollards as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Robin is really a nice guy, but sometimes his penchant for eyeless skull artwork is a bit scary.

It seems every time I survive another hospital visit it gets harder and harder to resume computer abilities. Strange. Hard to type for me again…very hard. Oh well.
