Not unusual to see a lost flip-flop or sandal in the street from a motorcycle passenger losing them but a pair caught my eye.
This is my Digo. He passed away about a week ago. He had cancer last year and since his surgery both his hind legs got worse. 2 weeks prior, he lost the will to even move. We made a heartbreaking decision.
We miss him, badly.
Macromondays: Theme is Deception
For the last few days, my Iphone has been deceiving me and claiming that I have 2 items of mail - but go into it and the mail box is empty. Steve Jobs and his lies again. Soon as the contract is up I'm off to Android!
This is a true macro. It was taken with a 1:1 90mm macro lens (at 1:1) attached in front of 120mm bellows. I'm not sure how to calculate the magnification ratio, but if you look at my bank note shot, I have examples of a 1:1 and whatever I am achieving with this setup. I'm guessing somewhere between 2:1 and 3:1.

Missing the whole chain in fact. Snapped my chain 15 miles from home. Opened bar bag to find chain tool and spare links had been left on the workbench...! Record 10 sp with about 1000 miles use. Might now consider return to 8 sp cassette...?
Park bench near the lake in Osborne Park in Willoughby Ohio. Just before sunset. The only thing missing is a lovely couple holding hands.

Although it may have been loose it was helped out by the boy at school who decided to head butt her as they were playing. The tooth fairy still came :)
Having been away from 'home' for so long I have learned to miss things:
1. Missing those back at home. Loved ones I yearn to see.
2. Missing those in the heavens. Souls and heroes that shine in an every moment of me.
3. Missing myself. The deepest feeling I have ever felt.
NB: I am in a very positive mood.
Maybe, looking more sad than scary!

And missing my friends there. And the warm weather.
Also missing my camera :-( I've had to send it into Canon for recalibration and I wanted to upload something today.
Our cat, Cody, went missing yesterday while we were finishing up cleaning our old home in Kingsland, Georgia.
He fell/jumped out of a window and has been missing since roughly 11a.m on February 14th.
We have been looking everywhere, left our number with the humane society and surrounding fire department, posted flyers, and have walked through the surrounding woods.
We left food and treats out for him and when we went to check for him again this morning the food was gone and we saw what we are assuming are Cody's foot prints.
We are under the impression that he is hiding out in the woods.
Unfortunately we are not able to stay an additional day here in Georgia to look for him because we have to be in North Carolina no later than tomorrow morning in order to get the keys to our new home and meet the movers there so they can drop off our things.
Cody is missing in Kingsland, Georgia near the Lakes area/s, so please, if you or anyone you know live around there, please pass this along.
We need our kitty home with us!
