Rita-Jean (please read her comment and my reply) made me realize that the actual user of this chair is not only missing from the chair and the photo but also from the tags and most of the comments.
I don't want to perpetuate the invisibility of people with disabilities.
Please think about how a wheelchair user might react to this photo.

My dear cat Musti is still missing. It's five weeks now, so I've given up hope he will return. He was always with me in the garden for the last sixteen years. Not knowing where he is and what happened is very frustrating. I made this photo only one day before he was missing.
I do miss her a great deal. We always went to Kyoto or some other places together, never missing nice coffee and yummy things, having a lot of chat and laughter, walking a lot, taking a lot of pictures.
For the time beigng I can't travel with her, but I'm waiting for her to come over the grief, and the day we can travel together again!
After I woke up from a long and needed sleep, I woke up this morning proud of myself that I had managed to protect my mommies prized ferrero rocher collection from harm.
But oh shock, what did I find when I went to check the tressure chamber?
One of the golden orbs had vanished!
After making sure my Uncle wasn’t responsible, by checking if he had some chocolate smeared around his snout, I kept investigating.
It didn’t take me long to find the culprit. Little Pip was happily snoring next to the window, the evidence in form of a golden wrapper still on his nose.
I didn’t have the heart to turn him in and I thought maybe my mommie wouldn’t miss this one, to make sure that the treasure still looked symmetrical (since they are lined up in pairs) I decided to eat another one... only to protect Pip of course ;-)

This large old-time bicycle statue in Sparta, Wisconsin, is missing its rider — Ben Bikin — who has been removed to the F.A.S.T. Corp. in Sparta to receive a fresh coat of paint.
The Korean War Veterans Memorial was authorized by Public Law 99-572 on Oct. 28, 1986 "…to honor members of the United States Armed Forces who served in the Korean War, particularly those who were killed in action, are still missing inaction, or were held as prisoners of war." The law established an advisory board of 12 veterans appointed by the president to coordinate all aspects of the memorial’s construction. The site is located adjacent to the Lincoln Memorial directly across the reflecting pool from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
The American Battle Monuments Commission managed the project and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers provided assistance. The architect of record is Cooper Lecky Architects. President Bill Clinton and South Korean President Kim Young Sam dedicated the memorial on July 27, 1995. Since the dedication several modifications have been incorporated: a kiosk to provide shelter for National Park Service personnel and a computer system with data housing the "Honor Role," which was accessible to the public. Correcting accessibility issues and replacement of the lighting in the statuary and along the mural wall with a state-of-the-art fiber optic system were required. Reconstruction of the pool and tree grove by the National Park Service and Corps of Engineers to improve tree maintenance and operate the reflecting pool was completed in July 1999. The overall cost for the design and construction of the memorial and kiosk was $16.5 million.
Statues:
There are 19 statues sculpted by Frank Gaylord of Barre, Vt., and cast by Tallix Foundries of Beacon, N.Y. They are approximately 7’3" tall, heroic scale and consist of 14 Army, 3 Marines, 1 Navy, 1 Air Force. They represent an ethnic cross section of America with 12 Caucasian, 3 African American, 2 Hispanic, 1 Oriental, 1 Indian (Native American).
The juniper bushes are meant to be symbolic of the rough terrain encountered in Korea, and the granite stripes of the obstacles overcome in war. The Marines in column have the helmet chin straps fastened and helmet covers. Three of the Army statues are wearing paratrooper boots and all equipment is authentic from the Korean War era (when the war started most of the equipment was WWII issue).
Three of the statues are in the woods, so if you are at the flagpole looking through the troops, you can't tell how many there are, and could be legions emerging from the woods. The statues are made of stainless steel, a reflective material that when seen in bright sunlight causes the figures to come to life. The blowing ponchos give motion to the column, so you can feel them walking up the hill with the cold winter wind at their backs, talking to one another. At nighttime the fronts of the statues are illuminated with a special white light; the finer details of the sculpture are clearly seen and the ghosts appear.

The media are ignoring Stepha Henry, a missing person. Please copy this picture to your site and link to the Stepha Henry news story. Here is a blog proving how the media is ignoring it. This story is not about Paris Hilton nude, Lindsay Lohan flashing her beaver, or any of the other nonsense the media likes to talk about. But can you look @ her picture anyway and call the police if you know anything about her disappearance? "Anyone with information can call Miami-Dade Det. Last month I posted pics of semi-feral cats that were starving in a parking lot at a nearby small rural community. The parking lot was at a Mexican housing complex.
After noticing their lack of care I contact the local humane society to seek help for them.
Long story short, I checked on them a few days ago and was shocked to see that they were ALL gone. Vanished. Disappeared. The only cat there was this orange kitty....[which is a new one-didn't see him last time].
I contacted the shelter to see if they trapped them and they said no--that they noticed that all the cats were gone shortly after I notified them.
I hope the owner of the migrant apartments didn't rid them inhumanely.
I now feel bad --afraid that my actions caused their demise. I will think twice about doing the same next time. The pix below is the one posted last month. The cats were so cute--but starving.
