The Missing History of Massillon: Unheard African American Stories exhibit opened on June 11, 2022.
This project was launched in 2020 to address the Museum’s deficit in content related to Massillon’s African American heritage while striving to be more welcoming to diverse populations. Your Massillon Museum is working to document the history of Massillon’s Black community, and to maintain and integrate representation of this history into the archives, collections, and shared memory of our community.

This is Lady. She is a Yellow Lab that is missing from St. Bernard High School. The owner, a 70 yr. old grandfather was told he could not take the dog after bringing her and keeping her with him at the stadium for three days. The family did back and see the bodies of the dogs that were killed. Lady was not among those dogs. At this point it is assumed she is alive. Please help us find her. Her owner is obviously upset and misses her badly. The family is doing everything to bring Lady come for Christmas. She is spayed and was spayed at a young age so her nipples did not develop. She also has a pin in one leg from surgery. I will get her Petfinder number and add it on....anyone with any information please email me a Danakay2@aol.com

you can take and put together even though
you know there's something missing

This is Dochie.
Me and Ali are frantic as he has gone missing.
I've been out looking for him, with no success and now just feel useless.
He is coming up for 8, a total sook and likes chewing long hair.
He is nearly all black except a few white hairs on his chest you see in this photo, and a white blob a couple of inches long on his belly, between his back legs.
He's wearing a red collar like in the photo.
He might have crossed the railway line and got lost, but I've been over by SDM and can't see him.
Now fearing the worst.
Kiera is missing him too.
Anyone else there remember how it felt to pick up your photos from the lab back in the days of film? I LOVE that anticipation, and have been missing it. So shot a roll of b/w film in the diani mini yesterday...taking them to the lab tomorrow to get developed and I am LOVING the anticipation
Israeli F-15 Eagle with a missing wing, caused by a collision during a training exercise. Flown 10 miles back to base and landed.
Every time I think of you
I always catch my breath
And I'm still standing here
And you're miles away
And I'm wondering why you left
And there's a storm that's raging
Through my frozen heart tonight
I hear your name in certain circles
And it always makes me smile

The Queen stage of this years race. 112 torturous kilometres from Kilkenny to Mount Leinster via The Corrabutt Gap. I caught up with the race in Bunclody and at that stage it was bucketing down and there was a gale of wind blowing. In fact, the only thing missing was a sighting of the ark taking up position on the mountain to save us all from the flood. After all the racers had passed through Bunclody I made my way to the finish line on Mount Leinster where the wind was so strong it was almost impossible to keep the normal race signs standing without having to manually hold them in position. One poor unfortunate race worker was assigned to hold the finish line marker in position untill all the racers had crossed the line. In my set you will see the standard photos of the stage winner and in this case the race leader,RIKKE LONNE, Denmark, Team Crescent D.A.R.E crossing the line to win this historic stage and almost gaurantee herself overall victory. She also leads the Points and Mountains classifications and took the todays prize for most aggresive rider for good measure. But this stage was not just about the stage winner or indeed about Irish champion Lydia Boylan Team WNT great ride to finish alone to take 2nd on the stage and probably 2nd on the overall classification. It was about all the ladies who were tested and not found wanting on a horrible day when it was easier to give up than keep going, to find excuses to stop than to find the energy and motivation to get to the finish. Once the winner came over the line I went back down the mountain and waited for all these warriors to come up to the finish and hopefully these photos will do them justice. I felt that was the least they deserved. There are many stories in this stage some of which will not be heard for days or maybe weeks but I hope this album gives you all an inkling of todays racing. A fabulous advertisement for this race and for Womens racing in general.
