He came with peace

They made holes in his hands

and sent him on a wooden train

I tried to close the pierce

They vanish me in no land

and made hole in my brain

I hued from the blues

I went Red on all the news

They said that I’m insane

I looked away depressed

Bones and flesh I dressed

I even showed my veins

But I can’t change my view…I’m missing my visual cortex!

here's a yeti I did. I'm doing one for the Pictoplasma missing link project but I'm not sure if this is the finished article, I like him though so here he is.

A few months ago First Potteries began repainting its fleet of 06-plate Scania OmniCitys into the new livery, in fleet number order no less. First being First, however, meant that the programme was forgotten about halfway through and so a number remain in Barbie. The new colours look well enough on the OmniCity when viewed from the rear, but from the front... uh, maybe not. All it needs is for the magenta to continue across the bumper. Here 65038 (YN06 WML) is seen in Newcastle bound for Stafford on the 101, these buses' home for their entire lives.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: I believe what you see here is a combination of my childhood doll's outfit and her replacement I got at the Salvation Army in 2012. I believe that the doll from the Salvation Army was still donning parts of her original outfit. I think she even had sunglasses tabbed down to her head. The purse, bracelet, and shoes were without a doubt my childhood gal's. It's hard to find little accessories to secondhand dolls unless you get them in a lot. I purchased my second Fashion Photo gal by herself, in a bag with Mystery Squad Barbie. So there was no way I'd have owned these tinier accessories if I hadn't already bought the same doll as a kid. I believe the shrug and removable bottoms shown here also belonged to my original doll. The long pants that converted into capris were a very common style in the early 2000s. It made doll outfits that much more versatile. Although, truth be told I always found this outfit to be tacky. The halter top and skirt were an appealing print. But I thought the metallic pink bottoms were super gaudy. These are the sorts of pieces I would have exclusively used on a "villain" in our doll games. In fact, I have a vague memory of utilizing the pants and shrug on some of our bad guys.

The only thing missing in order to entirely encapsulate the U.S. economic mainstays, is a hair salon and a payday loan place.

V42 runs past Teralba on its way to central.

In a recent development people have been stealing the v set number plates so the numbers are drawn on the set instead.

LAST SEEN AT THE L.A. AIRPORT!!!

Molly the sockmonster is missing. This time she is really missing and needs the help of everyone on flickr if she is ever to return home and even then it may not be enough.

Molly left Maine just before father's day to meet up with my dad and his friend Pat and go to Pat's time share in Mexico. They had a wonderful time and my dad even bought Molly a sombrero and a Mexican skirt. After a week they headed back to California. Molly had been traveling in my dad's fanny pack to stay safe but my dad wanted one more photo op and then put Molly in a bag with his camera and cell phone. After passing through customs they went to the baggage claim area. When their bags came up on two different carousels the bag with Molly got left behind. They didn't realize their mistake till they had passed through the security gate. By then it was too late and they weren't able to go back to look for Molly. The airport said they sent someone to look for her but couldn't find her.

Before Molly left on her ourney i had written on the back of her I.D. tag : if found return to.......... REWARD!!

We have been hoping that the person that found her would send her home. The last time she was seen was June 30th.

My dad called his cell phone and asked that whoever found her to please return Molly and the memory card from the camera. They could keep the phone and camera........... Sigh, no reply.

If everyone that reads this could send it to all of their flickr contacts and ask them to do the same....... maybe someone out there will have seen Molly and could help with her safe return. I hate to think that her adventures are over. All we can do is try........Thanks Holly

Some miserable day, back in November

Newcastle is grey, as grey as the river

But your eyes are bright with life

And life is bright with you

I'm missing you

This is my recent work. I think you know it. And how about this one.

Why do places disappear just as you are falling in love with them?

A curious place to leave one's hat. Seen at Oxburgh Hall. Fujifilm X-Pro 1/XF 16/1.4.

Looking downtown, through Chelsea. Three exposure HDRI. This was during a day of rain showers. Two towers are missing in the distance in the photo, but not from our hearts.

Clearing one's mind as the sun sets and the day comes to an end.

But something is missing. You are missing.

I hope, that one day, I will have a chance to be able to ask you to join me to watch this magnificent view.

Wishing if I were better ... ...

Probably should go back. the well-known view over Hollywood from Mulholland Drive. My last day in LA.

This is pretty cool in its Original Size

The sturdy plastic canvas has been ubiquitous in Hong Kong since the 1960s.

The pattern can be seen not only in bags, but also as awning for outdoor vendors, for cheap fold up chairs, for protective covering in construction sites and other useful things.

It is a functional and affordable material that represents Hong Kong's pragmatism.

I've known she was missing since last night. I have looked everywhere but can't find her, I put her cage on the floor with food and water and she didn't come back. I'm so worried about her!! >.<

Exploring abandoned properties (in this case a multi-level old barn) presents photographic opportunities.

These are my Dad's; his Navigator's brevet, his RAF pin and his flying log book.

You can probably just make out the word "missing" which has been scratched out at the bottom of the page. My dad was a lucky one. On the night of this raid which resulted in the loss of all crew aboard his Halifax bomber, he had been taken into hospital with pneumonia. A replacement navigator perished in his place.

Before every raid my dad would be violently sick - yet like so many others he kept going behind enemy lines, night after night, knowing that he only had a 30% chance of returning. Such were the pressures that, during a briefing, if it was announced that the slower Wellington bombers would be part of the raid, a cheer would go round the squadron briefing room.

For my German friends, this was a war against an ideology, not necessarily a people. My dad enjoyed his post-war visits to Germany when I lived there, and was made most welcome by our German friends, despite their knowing what his wartime role had been.

I only know the details of the pilot who perished that night. They are below.

Portland, OR

I know I never post random stuff like this, but I'm having a good time learning to shoot with film. Don't ruin it for me!

Stopped in at my favorite toy shop in Portland to grab some vinyl goodness and ended up talking to one of the employees there about cameras for a good 20 mins. I asked if I could have a shot of him working and he kindly obliged.
