Tonight while I was at sfhfc we had to get rid of two of our large rustic scratch-posts. It was a shame as they have been well used over the years but sadly they had seen better days. Here I captured Zoe on one of them just before Chris, one of our volunteers got his saw out to help to dismantle them.
We have been looking to replace these for a while but it has so far proved impossible to source a UK based company who makes these large, hard wearing rustic cat climbers. If anybody out there knows of somebody in the UK who does make these, please get in touch and email us their details.
In the meantime one of the trustees of sfhfc has purchased a cat climber off Amazon and I have put this together tonight, with I have to say some help (or do I mean hinderance from a few of our residents). I will be posting a series of the helpers tomorrow.
