“恆安邨恆日樓 Heng On Estate Heng Yat House” / 香港公共屋邨建築之形 Hong Kong Public Housing Architecture Forms / SML.20130410.7D.37612.BW
Hong Kong is one of the highest density cities in the world, mostly because while most cities in the world are built on flatland, Hong Kong’s geography is mostly made up with mountains and steep hill.
In fact, according to Wikipedia, More people in Hong Kong live or work above the 14th floor than anywhere else on Earth, making it the world’s most vertical city [1].
Pictured is one of the public housing architectures in Hong Kong. It packs a lot of population in a single block, while leaving enough space around buildings for breathing room.
This was shot earlier this month with the 7D. Not wide enough. Trust that I will be going back soon with the 6D.
