Having lunch at Camden Market, this Starling came to join us at our table, clearly knowing there would be scraps!!

La Défense, the business district of Paris, France.

Part of the attraction of the former ironworks Völklinger Hütte is the Urban Art Biennale, an exposition of artworks and permanent graffiti or installations. Most of the art is removed during the cold months as it is displayed in parts of the ironworks like the Möllerhalle which is not heated.

A big part of the Babberspolder quarter in Vlaardingen is renewed. Older apartment blocks and houses from the 50s are demolished and new ones erected. Although it is now a nice place to live I find the renewal a bit to much. In my opinion it was nicer that they had kept some of the old buildings as a historic layer. Now it looks as a standerd new housing estate. The church in the centre of the picture is one of the few things they have kept.
