My philosophy for photography is the same as that I have for my designs—capture what is required and leave the rest out of the frame. One clear thought. You don’t need a whole lot in the frame—just capture the essence.

 

What is that I want to say about this image? I want to capture the forms which extended from the center out. That’s it. So I don’t need the outside of the leaf. I don’t need to show the location of the place. Just the leaf. So there it is, just the leaf, with a long lens.
